Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back

Chapter 92

Rebecca took a look at Arthur, then at Adam. She opened her mouth but didn't say anything after all.

They could do whatever they wanted. She didn't bother to think about it!

"Dinner is ready. Stop standing there and just talking. Come over for dinner!" At this moment, Julia's voice came from the dining room.

Although Julia couldn't accept Rebecca as her daughter-in-law from the heart, she had to do what she was supposed to do especially in front of her husband and her son.

"Let's go and have dinner." As he spoke, Arthur took the lead in walking towards the dining room.

"Okay." Rebecca nodded and let her hand be held by Adam. They walked to the dining room together.

This dinner was the most harmonious meal Rebecca had ever had at the Williams family. Adam still kept getting food for her. Arthur also asked her to eat more in order to get well soon. Even Julia asked the servants to serve her more soup. On the surface, everyone seemed to care about her and treat her well.

However, Rebecca no longer cared about who was acting and who did it sincerely.

After dinner, Arthur and Julia went to their garden for a walk. Adam's phone rang and he answered the phone in front of Rebecca.

Rebecca didn't know who was calling, nor did she want to know, so she went straight back to her room.

After being away for nearly four days, there were too many things left behind. She had to make up for them as soon as possible.

She went back to her room. After she read some information on the computer for a while, Adam entered the room.

Rebecca looked up and glanced at him, but inadvertently met his sights.

Without any reaction, Rebecca lowered her head and continued doing her own stuff, as if Adam had not come in at all.

Adam saw that she was concentrating on her work again, he did not disturb her. Instead, he went straight into the bathroom to take a bath.

Hearing the sound of the bathroom door closed, Rebecca raised her head again and sighed. Then she got up and left the bedroom.

After asking the servant and knowing that Arthur had returned from his walk and he was now in the study room, Rebecca went straight to the study room and knocked on the door.

"Dad." The door of the study room was not closed. Rebecca stood at the door, knocked and called.noveldrama

"Rebecca, come in!" Sitting in the chair behind the desk, Arthur, who was reading the documents, looked up. He nodded lovingly.

Rebecca smiled and walked in.

When Rebecca came in, Arthur put down the document he was reading and stood up. He walked to the sofa and sat down. He said to Rebecca, "Have a seat!"

Rebecca nodded and sat down on the sofa.

"What's the matter?"

If nothing happened, Rebecca would never take the initiative to ask him for help. Arthur was very clear about this.

Rebecca nodded again and said straightforwardly, "Dad, it was too hasty that I got married to Adam. I haven't even looked at my marriage certificate with Adam until now, and I don't know where it is. Could you..."

"Oh, you want to ask about that!" As soon as Rebecca finished, Arthur smiled and said truthfully, "It was in a hurry when you and Adam got married. Even your photos on the marriage certificate were photoshopped, but I don't have your marriage certificate. It's in your mother's hands but I have Adam's though."

"I see." Rebecca nodded and immediately realized the purpose of Alice holding their marriage certificate. But she didn't show any emotions on her face. She only said faintly, "Can you give Adam's marriage certificate back to us then?"
