Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money

Chapter 72

Chapter 72

Joshua looked at Yoel with a questioning expression.

Both Cynthia and Joshua looked at Yoel, unsure of what he was trying to do.

“Ms. Yates, could you do me a favor and sign this for me?” Yoel did not fail to notice Joshua’s cold glare, but he was not afraid to take risks for his idol. “I’m your fan,” he added.

Joshua growled softly, “Yoel!”

If this had happened in the past, Yoel would have already retracted his hand and obediently stood by, waiting for Joshua’s orders. However, he had to show his iron will before his beautiful and cool idol. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

“Is that okay?” Yoel asked Cynthia.

Cynthia froze, not quite sure what was going on. She had encountered similar situations, but Jimmy and the others were usually just joking around. Hence, she was not sure if she should accept this seriously.

Yoel took a small step forward, smiling as he extended his hands.

Seeing Yoel’s gaze, Cynthia did not think much and agreed, “Sure.”

She took his pen and notepad and signed her name quickly and neatly.

Cynthia’s signature was completely different from the one on the divorce papers. The signature on the divorce papers was written carefully and meticulously, with a graceful script. However, the signature she just signed was more personal and stylish, which was really cool!

Joshua saw it, which only made him more suspicious of Cynthia’s motives for getting close to him. Even the way she signed her name seemed intentionally different, making it hard for him not to suspect her.

“Shouldn’t you give me an explanation?” Joshua’s tone was accusatory, radiating a cold aura.

Cynthia glanced at the progress bar, which was only at 30%, before responding, “An explanation for what?”

Joshua’s eyes were deep and emotionless as he spoke in a cool, detached tone, “Your hacking skills and your signature. You even intentionally altered your handwriting. Don’t you think that’s strange?”

“There’s nothing to explain. Do you dare say that you’ve shown everything you know to me? Do you write everything with the same handwriting?” Cynthia responded calmly.

Joshua stared at her. She was too good at arguing.

“Who sent you here?” Joshua asked.

Cynthia and Yoel both looked confused.

“Did you get close to me and marry me just to steal the Neal Group’s business secrets?” Joshua continued, his eyes locking. onto hers with intensity.

Yoel felt it was necessary to say something for his idol. “Mr. Neal, you proposed to Ms. Yates, not the other way around.”

“Did you hear that?” Cynthia retorted.

Joshua looked displeased and turned to Yoel. His aura grew colder as he spoke, “If you say one more word, I’ll have you go to the finance department on Monday to settle your salary and leave.”

“I’m just telling the truth,” Yoel replied seriously.

Joshua’s eyes turned sharp like daggers. If it were not for Yoel having been with him for a long time, he would have fired him on the spot!

“If you’re suspicious, you can check it yourself,” Cynthia said firmly. Since marrying Joshua, she had never been to his Neal Group, let alone sneak into his study to tamper with his laptop. At most, she had just analyzed his problems and advised him.

“Can I really investigate it if your hacking skills are that good?” Joshua’s expression grew serious as he spoke with a sharp

tone.

Cynthia no longer bothered to respond to him. No matter how much she said, it would not change his wild imagination. Yoel could not bear to see his idol being wronged. “If Ms. Yates really wanted to steal our business secrets, why would she implicate herself? With her skills, wouldn’t it be more convenient for her not to marry you?”

“Yoel!” Joshua wanted to throw him out.

“I’m just reminding you out of goodwill. You’re always rational in other matters. Why are you so irrational when it comes to Ms. Yates?”

This was something Yoel could not understand.
