Chapter 125 Get off me
Immediately, all was dark and Blanca could see nothing. Blanca gasped in horror. “Get off me! Get off me!” she squealed. She struggled and kicked, trying to escape, but next second, she was carried on somebody’s shoulder and was thrown into a van. Then she could hear the van start and shoot ahead.
All Blanca could see was darkness and her arm was grabbed tightly by someone. She was very scared by this sudden attack and her heart was beating fast. She could hear the engine and some men breathing. Blanca tried to calm herself down and guess what they wanted – were they for money, or just her?
Why her? She couldn’t figure it out, because she was a nobody and sure had no enemies. ‘Or is this because of Matthew?’ At this thought, a cold feeling of fear swept her.
“Who the hell are you guys? What do you want me to do? If you want to threaten Matthew, you’re sadly mistaken. I’m of no importance to him,” said Blanca. She could feel herself shaking with fear. She tried to stay calm and take her phone out of her bag, but before she succeeded, her bag was taken away from her.
A weird voice came from above, “Don’t do anything crazy. If you don’t call the cops, we are not giving you a hard time.” Apparently, the voice had been altered by a voice changer. He didn’t have to change his voice, unless it was someone she knew! Blanca shook as with a chill at the thought.
After a while, the voice came again. “Hurry up! Do you want them to find us!” the man almost yelled at their driver. Blanca stopped struggling, her dark eyes fixed upon a small hole in the sack. Then she saw a white sneaker. At that moment, Blanca gave a great gasp, for she knew these shoes like the back of her hand. These shoes were her birthday present to Todd, which cost her a lot of money.
“Todd, is that you? What do you want?” asked Blanca tentatively. She got goosebumps and could feel cold sweat trickling down her back.
“How…How do you know?” said a familiar voice.
“Fuck you! What an idiot! Why did you admit it?” growled another voice.
It was clear enough to Blanca. She still couldn’t figure out the identity of the other person, but Todd was one of them. Maybe he wanted to seek revenge against Matthew for his being beaten the other day.
Since Blanca confirmed that it was Todd, she suddenly relaxed. She knew Todd so well. He was born into an ordinary family. Although he looked arrogant, he was timid on the inside because of his low self-esteem.
Blanca calmed down and asked, “Then what do you want from me?”
Her calm tone infuriated Todd. He was furious and shouted, “Don’t talk to me like that, Blanca! Your life is in my hands! I’m sick and tired of you always acting like you’re so much better than me! Today, you need to pay for what you’ve done to me!”
At this moment, the van gave a nasty wobble and stopped. Blanca heard the door open and then immediately, the sack over her head was removed.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
