Mistake with the Alpha

Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 165

Diana's

POV

"Why kill them?" He asked.

"That might rebel later on" I replied.

Omar didn't say anything and I know it was fear of him not to be killed. I didn't make Omar immortal because I don't think he needs it. None of the Alphas and Betas did I in any way make immortal. Only the fighting wolves.

We then marched to the Sunclad pack. I was seated on Omar as we all made her way to the Sunclad pack. I'm sure we would catch them unawares. They wouldn't imagine what we had in store for them. Now I want to see what will stop me from eating that blue wolf's heart.

Getting to the pack, they were truly not ready for us. They were still moving. I didn't want to destroy the city because I'll still be the one to rule here. I had strictly warned the warriors not to destroy anything. They should only kill people.

I then noticed that the people we were meeting were also warriors who were just clothes in normal clothes but I laughed. They were never going to be a match to my immortal armies. None of them could be armed. When these warriors saw this they began to run from their lives and my immortal men pursued them, tearing them into pieces.

Jaylen

I had gone to ally with the lycan King. I explained everything about my wolf to them and they even seem to know more than I do. Prince Brock had told me that he had known when he saw my mate shift but he wasn't interested in dark powers. Even Brock is here with me to fight the war.

I have numbers of lycan wolves in my pack ready to fight but then, no one knew when they entered, not even my pack members. I know I had betrayers between them. I trusted the lycans because I trust their king and prince. Drey has done me a huge favour. He was the one who tirelessly teleported the lycans to her pack secretly. I know I owe him that.

We then await the arrival of the war. I know this war will cost me a lot but I don't care. I don't care about emptying the pack's treasure to save my mate. My mate is also my life.

Just then we all sensed the approach of the way. I had made all the villagers who can't fight war to go hide in an age place. It's underground. I would have wished to put my mate and child there too but then I trust no one. My mind wouldn't be at rest. I wouldn't know if any of the betrayers are there with her. It's better for her to be where I'll see her.

"Alpha! Alpha! Alpha!" One of the warriors came running.

He was injured. I know my men. Even though they ain't lycans, they are very strong warriors. "Alpha they can't die" he said panting.

This got everyone of us standing. What do you mean by they can't die?" I asked the warrior.

"There's no way we can try to kill them, they won't die," he repeated.

That's trouble. If they can't die, that will mean that they'll kill us all and all our effort will be in vain. This got me so scared.

"What the hell is happening?" I shouted.

"Magic!" Prince Brock replied.

Alvin and Drey were also at war. Why haven't they come back inside to tell us this news. I mind linked Alvin and I was glad he replied. In no time he and Drey surfaced.

"I heard the Armies are immortal" I said to Alvin.

"Immortal?" The two chorused.

"You don't know?" Prince Brock asked.

The two shook their heads.

"We are guarding the pack house's gate," Alvin said.

"Call off the warriors into the warriors' glade. We need to find something to do, else we would all die!" I ordered.

I was so restless. I could fight an immortal army. This is beyond my powers.

"Liws... Liws... gafa..... gafabaa" I heard Drey chant.

He was looking at the sky.

"I can't see clearly," he said.

"What are you trying to see?" Brock asked.

"The kind of spell that was casted to make them immortal" he replied.

Hearing voices, we all ran to the warriors' glade. There were a lot of injured warriors. Some would survive, some wouldn't. They were being rushed to the pack's clinic. "Alpha thy are following us in" one of the warriors shouted.

I know I needed to do something.

"Drey can't you block the entrance so that they wouldn't be able to penetrate?" Prince Brock asked.

Drey shook his head sadly.

"They are immortals," he replied. "But if I can get one of them and know the kind of spell they used, I might be able to get something that would kill them," he said. "But that would take time," Prince Brock said.

"The gate of the pack house is very strong. Nothing can break through. Not even magic" I said to them.

My father had told me this. Yes, my father and Alvin's father are also part of the warriors that are fighting. I just pray that they are safe. I know them to be tough warriors but then I was still very much worried about them. "Lock the gate!" I gave an order.

"But there are still people outside," the chief guard said.

"Those are few but the ones in are massive" I growled at him.

I ran to the gate. Even prince Brock and the rest followed me. As they closed the gate one of the immortals wanted to enter but then he was sticker in the middle of the gate. Normally, the gate should have cut him in pieces but since he's an immortal, he was just hanging there. I went there and pulled him so that the gate would be locked. He wasn't the only one in. There were quite a few of them. Still fighting. I couldn't watch and wait to use just this few to kill all my warriors. The one I took, I took him by the check and squeezed him hard. I noticed he was choking. Then I brought out my claws and put them on his neck. To my surprise, he fell down to the ground dead instantly.NôvelDrama.Org © content.

I remembered that Drey told me that magic doesn't work on me. This made me happy. I looked back at the rest and I vampire speed and killed them all. I didn't even need to change to my wolf before killing them all. They were so easy to kill. "Jaylen, you could kill them," Prince Brock said, surprised.

"Yes magic doesn't work on him" Drey was the one who replied to him.

"Interesting....." Brock said with a smile.

Drey had already bent down to examine the body of the immortal army that I killed. We were looking at how he did his work.

"Hin.... jin.... lin.... ba ka ya nitreb..... elniman.... elpotxtr.... poxylien.... bash.... lawexly" he kept changing on each body.

We didn't know if he was getting the result he wanted. We were just calmly looking at him. He stood up and looked at us. He shook his head.

"The spell is too powerful. I can't break it" he said with a defeated look.

"There must be something you can fix," I said to him.

I can't fight these massive wolves all by myself; they'll tear me to pieces sooner or later.

"I don't know what I can do about it. Alpha" it's the spell of immortality. It can only be broken by the one who wields it" Drey said.

This I was very sad about. Will I just watch my people die?

"Drey, how about you go and find if you could see anything to break this spell or counter it. People will die if we do not try" prince Brock said and Drey nodded.

We are running out of time. Soon they'll find a way to get into the pack house and if they do, we won't be able to stop them. Not to talk of, we might have betrayers amidst us. I was looking at those warriors. They were too much for me to fish out if there's any betraying one among them. I just prayed in my heart that I'll find a solution to this undefeatable war.
