Mistake With The Alpha Chapter 126
Diana's POV
Then, when I saw her at my place I had thought she was there to kill me. Not until she said she had forgiven my naivety that I shouldn't try it next time. "Armies? What do I need them for?"
I was quite confused. A witch can kill many at a time especially when she uses the enchantment of strangling.
"Do you think you would be able to chant to kill them all? Jaylen is far stronger than you think. Shouldn't you have learnt that from your past magic?"
Yes I reasoned with her. There's no magic that I use on Jaylen that ever worked. It seems he's immune to it.
"That's true. I didn't even think of it that way. Jaylen is a lycan and also a vampire hybrid. I'll definitely need a lot of wolves to kill him".
"Lots of them. Powerful and strong. With this you'll need allies. As many as the allies you can get" she said.
After I left Liza's place, I kept on ruminating on how to get allies. I'm a fugitive, I can't get close to them and talk more of me speaking to them. But then, I needed this. This is where Omar comes in. If his daughter likes it she shouldn't join us. I'm sure I'm going to fulfil my plan.
Getting back to my place, I met Omar already there. Since yesterday, he has gone to go search for his daughter. I had intentionally pushed him away so I could perform my healing spell. I didn't want to heal in front of him. I didn't want any wolf to see me perform my unique magic anymore. They've betrayed me once and now it's my turn to rule them. "Did you find her?"
I asked immediately if I saw him. He was seated outside. I know he's waiting for me. He couldn't enter because I've sealed the cave with my magic.
"Yes. She went back to her aunt's place".
With the way he looked, the result of going to meet her wasn't that good but that's their family business. I have a plan to focus on. I didn't even bother to say another word, I just went inside. "She's still very much angry at me," he said with a sad tone.
"Allison is a selfish child. She didn't even look at the pains you went through. If she wants to do it on her own let her" I said blankly.
"I don't care about her. I'm just afraid that she would go meet someone that will obstruct our plan......"
I turned to look at him.
"She has found another person?"
"No... No.... No. It's just that she's saying she'll go find another that will do her a good job. And Allison never makes an empty threat" he said in a low voice.
"Don't worry, I'll know what to do when the time comes".
"Please don't hurt her. Allison is just a child" he pleaded.
I could see fear in his eyes.
"I'm not hurting anyone. Allison is like the daughter that I don't have" I said with a fake smile.
Those two don't know that they disgust me. Once I'm done using them, I'll surely dispose of them. So no killing anyone for now.
"I have a new plan Omar" I said and sat on my chair.
Omar came to quickly sit at my feet to listen to what I have to say.
"I need allies".
"Allies?" He asked, confused.
I wouldn't blame him because that was how I was confused. I wasn't intending to tell Omar about my sister Liza. I don't trust anyone enough to let them know about the connection between Liza and I. "Yes. As you know that Jaylen is not someone that magic can easily work on,....." I gave a distant look. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
It's not so sweet from my mouth to hear that my magic is not so powerful as to catch a wolf. Omar nodded his head repeatedly.
"We need to gather allies that have the same goals as we are to fight him and his pack at large..."
"That wouldn't be so hard. Sunclad pack has a lot of enemies who envy their growth" Omar said.
"Then let's use them".
"But....."
He drifted away.
"But what?"
I was quite anxious to know what it is all about.
"You know I've been part of the Sunclad warriors for a while and I know their strength. Their warriors are so mighty and powerful. None might be willing to contend with them. They've never lost a battle" he said.
I could see bitterness in his voice. He wasn't willing to praise them but then he doesn't have a choice.
"Do you think I don't know this?" I scoffed. "I might be in this forest but I know what is going on in all the packs".
"Sorry," he apologised sheepishly.
"I'll definitely find a solution to that. You just get us allies," I said firmly.
"Yes, Diana".
"I heard that Jaylen's wedding is in two days' time".
Omar nodded sadly.
"I have a gift for the bride".
"A gift?" He frowned.
Clapping my hands three times, two expensive looking beads came.
"Wow! This is beautiful" Omar exclaimed.
What a dumb man. I said in my heart. On the bead was inscribed Luna and the second Alpha. Liza and I have chanted a lot on this bead. Jaylen's own doesn't have any enchantment but Sam's has a lot of it. It is a bead that will weaken her powers and kill her when we want.
"Get it across as a wedding gift to them" I said, giving it to him.
Collecting it, Omar scrutinised it.
"Nothing is looking unusual," he said.
"How naive you are. So you want it to hint that it has magic in it right? Don't be a fool Omar" I said blankly.
I didn't know why I had to be paired with this kind of dull man. He was annoying me.
"That's true. Don't worry I'll definitely get it across. I have someone who could do it inside the pack".
I nodded.
"But.... What is it for?"
I glared at him for asking and he coughed slightly and looked away. That was better.
