The Prophecy
“Here you go, Sir Axel” Sana offered a glass of water to Axel.
“Thanks” he mumbled, taking the glass of water from her.
“I hope you get all better soon”
He stretched out his hands and ruffled the hair of little Sana.
“I am already all better” Axel assured her.
“Now, go check out how Hazel is doing in her room and make sure she doesn’t try stressing herself”
“But Miss Clarissa is there and she does not seem to like me”
“Hazel will be by your side.”
“Okay, sir Axel” Sana replied obediently and walked out of the room.
Axel let out a heavy breath as soon as she was out. The bullet in his body had been removed about an hour ago and he knew he needed rest badly but he found it hard to rest knowing that he was quickly getting entangled with more danger.
Rex shooting him was not something he was expecting at all after all to Axel, no matter what, they were supposed to remain brothers and even if they fought, they should at least keep each other alive.
Axel let out another sigh at the thought of Alpha Damien who had attacked during the heat period. He was sure that he had done so, knowing that the packs would be at peace and at home, having fun with their mates but most importantly was the new discovery that he had just confirmed.
Having sex with Hazel was sapping his energy away. Axel was sure about it now because he had had sex with her before they left home and he had felt weak ever since then, even during his fight with Axel and when the attack came, he had felt weak and shifting past his usual wolf form to let his Alpha wolf take over had been almost impossible because it seemed like his energy was not enough for it.
Axel knew that it was the full moon that was later uncovered by the cloud that provided him with enough strength to be able to shift back into his Alpha wolf form and gather energy.
Pulling himself together and sitting up on the bed that he had laid down, Axel began to think deeper into the occurrence.
Why was his strength and energy leaving his body and going into that of Hazel? Was it because they were contrasting wolves, coming from the white and dark wolf packs?
That was the only thing he could think of to be the situation of things but he still could not be sure that was actually the situation and even if that was the situation, a solution was particularly what he needed the most.
He had to find a way to solve this issue as fast as possible because he did not want to lose all of his strength to her but stopping sex with the woman he loved was out of it too. He was sure that he would even be unable to stop himself even if he tried to.
The door opened and the old wolf doctor walked into the room.
“Yeah, just the perfect person to ask about what was going on”

“You mean that Hazel beat you up?” The Alpha slowly let out his words, not wanting to believe it.
Rex was lying on a bed, his body covered with several bandages. It would take him long weeks to recover from all of the flesh that had been bitten off his body.
“Yes, father. I was going to eliminate her like you wanted me to do but the first shot was taken for her by Alpha Damien and then….”
“And then what?”
“And then she shifted into get wolf form and attacked me, father. I have never seen a white wolf being that strong.”
“No, not just a white wolf. I have not seen any she wolf being strong enough to beat me up. You know it father, there are few male wolves in the pack who stand a chance against me but she…. I was shocked, she is powerful than we think”
The Alpha bit on his bottom lip and walked a few steps away from his son.
“Are you sure you are telling the truth?” He glanced back at Rex.
“Why would I lie about this? It is embarrassing to repeat the fact that she beat me up even before Axel came in and took over from where she stopped. If not for Axel’s presence, there is a possibility that she would’ve eliminated me.”
The Alpha now seemed super concerned. He walked over to the window of Rex’s room and gazed outside of it.
He remembered the two wolves that he had sent to eliminate Hazel first of all who had been found dead later on. Now it seemed very possible to him that Hazel could have been the one who killed those two wolves and dumped their body into the river behind her house.
After all, if she could defeat Rex as Rex had said, what would a normal male wolf and she wolf be for her to get rid of?
But then it all did not make sense, she was a white wolf. White wolves did not have so much strength as Dark wolves did so where did she find such immense energy.
He had been watching over all of the kids of the pack and he knew Hazel pretty well, she was soft and was never really interested in fighting or training. She had never seemed interested in acquiring powers and what powers could she have suddenly acquired so soon?
It was all confusing for the Alpha but a memory cleared everything up to him. The prophecy from twenty five years ago. His eyes blinked in nervousness as he realised that it was the prophecy.
The only wolf who could be that strong even with barely any training could only be the chosen wolf as the prophecy had said.Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.
He now understood why Axel seemed weak during the fight. Every single thing now added up.
The prophecy had clearly stated that a strong wolf would arise from the white wolf pack and leech onto a dark wolf from where she will suck off his energy until she is strong enough to lead the white wolf pack to greater heights.
The prophecy was coming to pass now and her, Hazel was the white wolf to leech on his son and suck off his energy until she will be strong enough and then she would take the white wolf pack away from being the slaves of the dark wolf pack.
“No!” He stated firmly.
He would never allow the prophecy come to pass and now he did not even care if she found out that he was the one after her life, he had to eliminate her, personally if that was what it took.
