Everything seemed to freeze immediately Damien said those words. Hazel was however the first one to move.

She took two steps backwards, shaking her head lightly. She did not want to go anywhere with him.

She immediately regretted her decision to come over here. What had she come here for exactly?

“Alpha Damien… Why don’t you check out some other ladies? We have really beautiful ladies but… Hazel is the daughter if the late beta, I can… I cannot just give her out.” The Alpha shook his head.

“Are you going against me right now?” Damien questioned, his eyes flashing with anger for a second.

“I am not going against you. I am just…”

“She is the only one I want. You can keep the eighty white wolves. I only want her” he cut the Alpha off.

Hazel looked towards Rex, tears starting to fill her eyes. This would not get her fate if she had shifted and found her mate already.

The moon goddess was to blame.

“Rex” she called, her voice trembling a little.

“Rex, you are not going to let him take me away, right?” Hazel asked, the tears that had filled her eyes were starting to drop.

“You do not have to be scared of me. I will take good care of you” Damien said to her but his words did not make Hazel in any way calm.

“Alpha Damien” Rex called.

“You have something to say?”

Rex sighed and shook his head in the negative response. Hazel’s lips parted into a small gasp as her face took on an unbelievable look.

“Rex!” She cried out.

“I won’t be staying for longer. I will be picking her and leaving”

“No! No! This cannot be happening! It’s not even been up to five minutes since we met!” Hazel cried out.

“It doesn’t matter. I am already drawn towards you. I know what I want, I am not some indecisive man. I go for what I want and you are what I want”

The last thing she wanted to experience was going away with this dangerous looking man who had taken a sudden interest in her.

“You cannot let him take me away!” Hazel pleaded.

“Any resistance would be taken as betrayal and my pack would come against your pack, do you want that?” Alpha Damien asked the confused Alpha.

“Hazel” he called.

“You are not… You are not going to push me to him right?” Hazel questioned.

“Alpha Damien, can we have a moment together?”

“Sure” Damien shrugged and the both of them walked away from the living room.

“Why didn’t you tell him, Rex? Why didn’t you tell him we are dating?” Hazel asked, wiping away her tears and walking towards Rex, a step after a step.

“Why?” She questioned him again.

“Hazel” Rex called, turning towards her.

“You have no idea how dangerous Alpha Damien can be. I… I cannot just go against but I promise you…” he grabbed her hands.

“I promise you that I will get you back from him as soon as possible”

“So you are going to let him take me away? is this…. Is this the love you claim to have for me?” Her eyes teared up.

“If I resist, he is going to take us as enemies and he is going to get rid of us!”

“You were so willing to let go of my hands, Rex!”

“Hazel, I do not have a choice right now but I promise I will do something about this, I promise” he assured her but Hazel just shook her head, making a few drops of tears fall down her face.

“I will not go with him!” Her voice sounded determined.

“Hazel” it was the Alpha. He was back with Alpha Damien.

“He is going to let me go, right? He is going to, right?” She asked desperately.

“I am sorry, Hazel but you… You have to do this for the Pack. Alpha Damien would like to take you away now”

“Is… Is this because I no longer have any family? That is why I can be thrown away like this?” She questioned tearily.

Damien glanced towards his men who were standing a bit far away from them. The men immediately walked towards Hazel and picked her up.

“Let go of me!!” Hazel yelled but of course, she was not let go.

Her mind flashed to Axel. If only he was here, something told her that he would not let be taken away this easily.

“Axel!! ” She screamed out his name, hoping he was in the mansion but he was not.

“Axel!!” She screamed out even more as she was being taken away.

“I will be back next time” Damien grinned at the Alpha who had a concerned look on her face.

“Please do take care of Hazel”

“She is now mine. You do not have to worry about how she is being taken care of anymore.” Damien replied and walked away with his head up high.

He knew he was going to have loads of fun with Hazel, making her his woman until he found another one who would catch his eyes again.

The Alpha stared at his retreating figure as Damien left with his men.

“She is really gone” he mumbled.

“That Damien! His powers has got into his head!” He groaned as soon as Damien had left.

The anger now taking over him. The Alpha himself hated it, he hated having to be subject to Alpha Damien, he hated having to grant his wishes all the time! He hated his selflessness.

“And you!” He looked towards Rex.

“Take a look at you! If only you had come up with a way to deal with this situation earlier! You are not even worried about all of the wolves we are giving out! You do not even seem worried about Hazel being taken away! How could you even want to become to Alpha without a single care for the wolves and our welfare?!” The Alpha yelled at Rex.

Rex kept his head bowed as his father scolded him. A small smirk appeared on his lips however. Rex could already imagine the look on Axel’s face when he would find out that his woman had been taken away by someone he could not fight against.

He did not have to imagine for long as Axel soon walked into the living room. He had noticed Alpha Damien leaving so he decided to come back into the house.

“How many wolves did he eventually take?” Axel asked.

“None” His father shook his head.

“None? What happened?”

“He took her instead”

“Took who?” Axel asked.

“Hazel, he took her instead.”
