“I can’t believe you talked back at the Physics teacher Axel, you’re such an airhead.” Mia said.

“Just needed to put him in his place, he was making advances at Jabi.” Axel replied.

They were on their way to the school library. Jabi kept mute all along.. only skies knows what was going on on her mind. Suddenly, Mia felt a force push her, making her stumble. She didn’t fall though, but the books in her hands fell to the floor. “What was that?” Mia fired before turning back to look at the doer.

The only person who could do that was Sandra, but she saw Alexander, instead. She was kinda surprised. “Oh.. I’m so sorry.” He said and bent down to pick up the books. Mia bent down also and stopped him from picking the books up. “Thank you, I can pack them myself.” She said grumpily. They stood up.

“Alex, why did you run into her that way?” Jabi questioned. “Oh.. I was calling you guys but none of you heard so I decided to run over and then I accidentally hit her.”

“Why were you calling us?” Axel quizzed also. “I… was thinking if I could join your study group.” Alexander said and smiled.

“Oh sure you can-” Jabi said but was cut off by Mia. “No! You can’t join our study group. You think you can just walk up to us, request for stuffs, and expect it to be granted? Hell no! A. M. J. are not that nice, copy that.” Mia said rudely with so much infuriation before walking away. Axel glanced at Alexander also before going after Mia.

“I’m so sorry about that Xander Alex. I would love to have you in our group but those two rats aren’t in support of it. Majority carries the vote him? See you later.” Jabi said gently and smiled before going in the direction her friends took.

They were back in class. “Mia don’t you think you were harsh earlier?” Jabi asked. “Me? When? Where? How?” Mia asked, pretending as if she knew nothing.

“Stop being a dumbass. I’m talking about your reaction to Alexander’s request. I mean… I don’t see his request as a big deal.. so why did you cut him off bluntly like that?”

“There’s nothing to talk about Jabi. I don’t give a damn care in the world.” Mia said nonchalantly as she flipped a page of the novel she was holding. “You’re getting a can of beer for that baby.” Axel smiled and Mia beamed up.

“Really? Oh my! I’ll be tasting beer again…. ugh… after so much months.” Mia freaked excitedly. Julian had warned her nor to take alcoholic things as she wasn’t 18 yet. She would obey sometimes, and then defy, once in a pink moon. And now she pink moon’s rotation is done, time to defy again.

“Maybe I should become hard on him so I can get a carton of beer.” She said, teasingly. “Don’t worry, you just continue with the good work.” He said and Mia chortled.

“You guys are really unbelievable!” Jabi said, enraged.

“What does our reporter have to say now? A girl asked. The class went silent as Annie prepared to talk. All eyes were on her.

“Well, I would’ve posted this on the online community but I wanted my darling classmates to hear it first.”

“Just spill it already.” Axel said impatiently.

“Okay fine, fine. The person that stole the red stone has been found.”

“What?” “When?” “For real?” They all started whispering among themselves.

“Actually, it’s not just one person they are three guys, but before I mention their names, what do I get for this special news?” She folded her arms and moved get gaze from one person to another.

“I’ll drop an energy drink.” A girl said. “I’ll drop a hundred dollars.” A guy also said. “I’ll get you a fountain pen.” Another person said. It went on and on like that and Annie smiled satisfactorily.

“Okay fine. The names are, Alan Green.” Everyone gasped. “Asher Swift and..” She paused and smiled at the curious faces that stared at her.

Mia fisted her hands. The name she wished to hear was Alexander’s name. She knew that was selfish but that was what she wanted.

“Ryan Lopez.” Annie finally said and Mia’s shoulders dropped. “What? Ryan?” Jabi said on surprise and turned to Axel. “Isn’t he that jerk from the other day.” She asked. “I think so.”

“Wow.. I always knew that punk is a good for nothing, so he’s actually a thief? Amazing!” Jabi mocked. Mia hit the table with her face repeatedly. She was disappointed, really. Or maybe embarrassed.

Maybe she shouldn’t have been harsh on Alexander. Truth to be told, the reason why she had been like that was because she had the impression that he stole the stone, but turns out her impression wasn’t a real one.

**** Mia’s POV

“Everyone move to the Chemistry laboratory.” The chemistry teacher said before she walked out. Everyone got up and started packing the needed writing materials, except for a person. Alexander.

He was sitting there comfortably and writing only heaven knows what. Is he not going to attend the practical class? Anyways, none of my business. People started walking out of the class in groups.

I was thinking real hard. Since Alexander was the only one in class, I thought I should apologize to him but I need an excuse to go back to class. “Guys, I forgot something in class. You go on, I’ll meet you there.” I said before I excused myself.

I ran into the class and saw that it was empty. Alexander isn’t here anymore and I can’t perceive his scent.

I was disappointed. On my way out, I bumped into Sandra, or should I say she bumped into me. I walked past but she dragged me back by my cloth.

“Hey bitch!” She said. I glared at her before trying to walk away again. “Let go of my Sandra, I don’t have time for you.” I said and she chuckled. “Time? I never asked for you time, you weak duckling. Why do you exist huh? Aren’t you tired of being weak?”

“And aren’t you tired of being malevolent?” I fired back at her. Seems she wasn’t expecting it. Her countenance changed and her eyes darkened. “You dare yell at me huh?” She suddenly pushed me and I went back flying.

I closed my eyes and waited for my butt to land roughly on the floor. Few seconds passed and I felt nothing. Wait, I actually feel something. An arm wrapped around my waist? I opened my eyes to see Alexander. He was the guy with that strong hold.

Embarrassed, I got loose of his grip and turned to Sandra, who had a big frown. Guess she has a crush on him. I smirked and decided to infuriate her a little more. I turned to Alexander. “Oh Alex, thanks for saving me. I would’ve gotten injured if it wasn’t for you, thanks so much.” I said in a childish, sexy manner and hugged him. Gosh.. it took me so much guts to do that. I know I was being weird but I didn’t mind.

He didn’t hug me back anyways, maybe he got the message.

Breaking the hug, i turned to Sandra and winked at her. I could feel that she was about to burst out of anger and I couldn’t stop smiling. She marched away angrily. And I breathe in and out, time to explain why I acted that way.

“I-” I started but Alexander wasn’t there anymore, he left.. I think.

Was he angry? Ugh… I shouldn’t have come back to class. I just made a total fool outta myself. But I should really consider acting.. right?

“Hey Marlin you’re back.” Lian raised his head up from the book that he was reading and said.

“Yeah.. i-” He paused in his tracks. “What’s that noise?” He asked curiously. “Oh… Shane’s at work.” Lian sneered. Marlin continued walking. “Jeez… does that guy ever learn a lesson?” He said wearily. “I guess not.” Lian simply replied, driving his attention back to the book he was reading.” “What are you reading? Novel?”

“I’m not a fan of novels… well, it’s a magic spell book, I need to learn some things.” Lian replied, not removing his gaze from the book. “I see…” Marlin uncapped a bottle of yogurt and was about to empty the contents into his mouth when the moans of Shane and the bitch he was with, became louder.

He got infuriated. “I’m going in right now.” He announced ith evident anger in his voice. “Liam stopped him.

“Let him be, he won’t be able to perform in a few weeks anyways.” Lian said and Marlin stared confusedly. Then his eyes suddenly widened. “Did you…”

“Yeah… I gave him the portion.” Lian sighed and rested back.

“You.. have a meeting with the disciplinary board in few minutes.”
