Chapter 805 Leticia’s Worries
When it came to Charlie, Leticia thought about the upcoming marriage between Theresa and Dick. She said, “Theresa is about to marry Dick, which might pique Charlie, who doesn’t like him.”
Hearing this, Rose was surprised. She believed she was partly accountable for the divorce between Theresa and Charlie. Rose told Leticia, “Grandma, Theresa must find me nasty.”
Leticia was surprised that Rose had put aside her hatred for Theresa and ceased dealing with her. “Do you know the matter between them?”
Rose nodded. “Yes. I was gullible and was fooled by Jimmy before. I was too stupid to see him through and have never doubted him!”
Leticia comforted Rose, saying, “Don’t worry about it anymore. It’s all over. It’s the trick of that hypocrite, Jimmy, and you are not the one to blame. Since you’ve come back, have a good rest.”
Rose nodded. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
At night, Charlie was having dinner with Theresa and their children.
As for Cristina, she left in advance because she would go to work in a few days.
Only the four of them were at the dinner table! The two children sat at the side, and Charlie cared for Ben.
Only the sound of eating food could be heard.
In the dining room, everyone was silent when Charlie’s phone rang. He looked at the phone and found it was Leticia calling. So he answered the phone. “Mom.”
“Where are you?” Losing contact with Charlie for a few days, Leticia was anxiously concerned about him. She was eager to know how he would deal with the matter between Theresa and Dick.
Charlie said, “I am eating with Ben.”
“Since you are with your children, I am reassured.” Knowing Charlie was in the company of his children,
Leticia breathed a sigh of relief. “How will you settle the matter between you and Theresa?”
Theresa was eating boiled beans when she suddenly found Charlie peeping at her. She glanced at him and wondered what made him steal a glance at her. She guessed Leticia must have mentioned her on the phone.
Charlie answered, “Nothing happened between us.”
Leticia asked, “Is she going to marry Dick?” She was always curious about this matter. But she didn’t have the chance to ask Charlie after she returned yesterday. Now she called him to figure it out.
Charlie said, “Yes.”
Leticia asked, “Then what about the two children? Will Theresa bring them with her to Dick? Although I know Theresa cherishes them, I can’t bear to let them live under the same roof with Dick!”
Theresa didn’t know Charlie for long and was ignorant of to what extent he hated Dick.
But the members of the Calsis family knew about the poor relationship between Charlie and Dick. couldn’t send the two children to Dick and put them at risk. If they made a silly move, it would ruin the reputation of the Calsis family.
Charlie said, “It remains unsettled. What did you call me for?”
Leticia answered, “I called you to inquire about you. By the way, Rose has returned home.”
Knowing Rose back home, Charlie said, “I see.”
Leticia said, “She seemed to know about the affairs between Theresa and Jimmy and felt guilty about it.
She finally understood our solicitude for her and grew up!”
“She might as well learn it by heart,” Charlie said, “It’s fine that she was enlightened in time and remedied her wrongs.”
