Chapter 12: Dilemma
Chapter 12: Dilemma
The sky has turned to evening. Sera sat alone in the mini gazebo in the front yard of the house, burying
her beautiful face into the cellphone screen she had been playing for a long time.
Sera quickly lifted her head straight after hearing the roar of a black car that stopped not far from the
front yard of the house.
Sera's laughter grew wide when she saw Hobi getting out of the black car. Sera got up and walked very
quickly leaving the mini gazebo.
"Where have you been, Hobi?" exclaimed Sera loudly as she moved closer to Hobi who was about to
step into the house.
Hobi stopped his second footsteps then turned his body to face Sera who was right behind him.
"Why are you out alone? What are you doing? Don't say you're waiting for me?" guessed Hobi while
looking at Sera attentively.
Sera shook her head as fast as lightning. She lifted her cellphone that had been in her hand high.
"Who's waiting for you? I'm just playing a game outside. I'm tired of being in the house all the time,"
replied a spoiled Sera.
While walking hand in hand into the house, Sera and Hobi engage in conversation.
"Hobi. You haven't answered my question. Where did you go this afternoon?"
Sera, who was filled with curiosity, continued to urge Hobi to be willing to answer her questions.
"Of course looking for a man who is willing to be your best man," replied Hobi casually.
"You really did what Grandpa asked you to do?" asked Sera without taking her eyes off the look of
Hobi.
Hobi stopped walking and looked at Sera. Staring at Sera's two black beads.
"Of course I have to because it's an order." Hobi answered Sera's question with a firm tone.
"Then, did you find it?" asked Sera for the second time while showing a sad expression on her face.
"Now look at my face! What do you think? Do I look like I found it?"
Hobi tried to test Sera while showing a big laugh on his face and blinking his eyes repeatedly.
Sera looked away in great annoyance. Without directly hearing the answer from Hobi, Sera herself
already knew after seeing the expression clearly depicted on Hobi's face.
"Your face says that you found out who the man is. How annoying!" Sera cursed in annoyance.
"He's not annoying. My best friend is not as bad as you think. After you meet him tomorrow, you will
regret saying that," replied Hobi half angry.
Sera looked at Hobi again with wide eyes.
"It's not your annoying friend, it's YOU!" Sera replied to Hobi's words with an increasingly high voice.
Hobi was amazed at himself seeing Sera's emotional attitude suddenly overflowing.
When Hobi wanted to say something to Sera, Sera walked away leaving Hobi alone in the living room.
Hobi took a deep breath and not long after, Hobi said alone while staring at Sera's back until it
disappeared from his eyes.
"Why did she suddenly get angry like that? I was just doing what her grandfather told me to do. Am I
wrong?
If I can't fulfill what the grandfather asked me to do, I can be fired from my job.
And I probably won't be able to see her again. Hah! What should I do now? Should I do what Gusso
suggests? "
Hobi grumbled alone while gently massaging his temples. Suddenly Hobi tiptoed in surprise after
finding the sound of a cellphone ringing.
Hobi immediately grabbed the cellphone in his shirt pocket and then answered the incoming telephone
connection.
"Hello."
"Are you home? If so, I'd like to see you. I'm waiting for you in the work room now."
There was the voice of a man on the other side who was none other than Serafina's grandfather, Mr.
Juliari.
"Very well, sir. I will go straight to your work room now," said Hobi.
After the telephone connection was lost, Hobi quickly stepped out of the living room and moved into Mr.
Juliari's work room.This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
