The reporters were already beaming their annoying flashlights on their faces. Skyler hugged Mason’s arms, she was really scared that she gripped on his arms a little, the flash lights were burning her eyes through the sunglasses.

Mason didn’t pay any attention to the reporters, his aim was to make sure they didn’t lay their fingers on Skyler and he did just that till they finally got in.

Skyler released a deep breath immediately, the nose mask felt so uncomfortable but she couldn’t take it off because there were so many celebrities and businessmen.

“Bro, you made it in ” Ivy rushed from nowhere to hug then the moment she sighted him.

“You should thank Skyler” Mason replied when Ivy pulled away from the hug then turned to look at Skyler.

“You convinced him and made him a cone?” She asked and although she couldn’t see Skyler’s face, she could tell that Skyler was smiling when she nodded.

“Awwn sis come here, I love you!!!” Ivy immediately threw herself on Skyler’s arms.

Somewhere beside them, Hailey was watching with her mother, they whispered something among themselves before she walked towards them with a fake smile.

“Ivy” she called and Ivy turned to look at her and her face brightened up immediately.

“Hailey” Ivy checked her out with an impressed smile.

Hailey was putting on a gown that exposed almost every sensitive part of her body but Ivy didn’t see anything wrong with it because she thought most celebrities love it.

“You look so good” Ivy complimented.

“And you too” Hailey smiled back and the two exchanged a hug but Hailey’s eyes were stylishly on Mason which Skyler noticed.

When they pulled away, Hailey faced Mason with a smile.

“Hi Mason and Skyler” she waved at them, Skyler eyes showed she smiled back but Mason didn’t act like anyone just greeted him.

He looked at Skyler.

“Let me show you off to some business friends,” he said before pulling her along with him.

Hailey was frowning but she immediately smiled when Ivy looked at her.

“Ivy” Blake walked over to her and they both exchanged cheek kisses.

He stared at Hailey and Ivy knew it was her que to do the introduction.

“This is Hailey my best friend, she traveled out but she’s back now and Hailey this is..”

“I know him, Blake Andrews, your co star” Hailey cut Ivy off before stretching her hands towards Blake.

Blake smiled and accepted, he smiled at Ivy before walking away and Ivy couldn’t stop smiling back but when she noticed Hailey’s gaze on her, she faced her.

“What?” She pouted her lips.

“You like him,” Hailey smirked.

“What?” Ivy cheeks grew red.

“You like him!!” Hailey teased her.

Meanwhile Edna just finished taking pictures and chatting with a few models of hers before she stylishly peeped at Zach who was now chatting with Mason.

When Mason left, she cleared her throat and walked over to him.

“Hey Zach” she smiled at him but he didn’t reply to her, he brought out his phone and began pressing.

“Don’t ghost me Zach, you didn’t accept my cousin’s invitation if you weren’t gonna ghost me” Edna angrily crossed her arms under her breast.

Zach sighed and gave her a ‘what do you want look’.

“I’m sorry I lied to you” Edna muttered.

“And?” He raised one of his brows.

“Did you get to talk to Regina yesterday? Did she like you or something? Did you two exchange numbers?” She asked.

He gave up!

“You only think about yourself don’t you? Do you ever care about anyone who’s not you? Did you ask how I felt or how worried I was when you called me but you used me Edna, you keep using me Edna!!” He finally snapped.

“I didn’t use you, I asked if you were willing to help and you didn’t refuse so don’t go yelling at me!!” Edna fired back at him.

“Do you ever see me as a friend or a tool? If you really saw me as a friend then you would know I don’t want us to be just friends!” He said and Edna blinked.

“What?”

Zach moved closer to her and tried kissing her but she looked elsewhere and he let out a sigh.

“Don’t ever contact me again” he gave her a warning look before turning and leaving.

Edna looked at his retreating figure and she immediately shouted after him.

“Zach please let’s not fight, this is stùpid!! You didn’t even tell me if you talked to Regina!!” She yelled after him but she already left.

Soon everyone was seated when the event started. Jacob came in with style, he used his eyes and searched for Ivy then waved at her.

Rosa also waved at him but he didn’t pay her attention as he went to look for somewhere to sit. Director James took the stage with a mic in his hands.

“I will love to thank everyone that considered attending the launch party of lunch and bridges. We put so much energy into producing the film and we would love to appreciate the writer and the cast, especially the main cast. “As he spoke, people were already clapping.

“So now, love and bridges will be released ten seconds from now and we would love to do that count down together” he announced and the timer appeared on the big screen.

“Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five!..”

Everyone began counting along with the screen.

“Four! Three! Two! One! Yeah!!!”

“Love and bridges is officially released!!” Director James shouted and everyone began clapping, feeling excited.

Ivy and Blake began receiving lots of congratulations on their new movie. After Skyler greeted them, she felt like she needed to excuse herself to go to the bathroom and take off the suffocating nose mask.

She got to a rest room and opened it but what she saw made her eyes widened. Carson and his friend which he brought ( James ) were actually kissing.

They stopped the moment they saw her.

“Sister in law” Carson looked shocked and nervous and Skyler looked at the rest room sign.

“Oh.. I’m sorry I didn’t know this was a male restroom, my bad” she flashed him a small smile and immediately rushed off.

She got to the female restroom and released the breath she was holding.

“The youngest son of the Delgado is gay?” She said to herself as she took off her nose mask.

The door suddenly opened and Hailey stepped.

“I’m sorry I didn’t know someone was where” she faked a surprised look and turned back to lock the door with the key then threw the key somewhere in the basin.

Back at the party, Ivy was taking pictures with lots of people as they congratulated her.

“Hey rat, you wanna take a pic or perhaps want an autograph from me?” Ivy also smirked at her.

Edna forced a smile at her and likewise Ivy to her.

“Ivy” Blake walked towards them, he waved at Edna and she forced a smile at him too.

“If you don’t mind, can we go somewhere a bit private?” He asked and Ivy stylishly looked at Edna who was trying not to smile.

She nodded and Blake smiled at her before taking her hands.

“Hey remember I’m older than you and I’m single so don’t you dare find a partner before me!!” Edna shouted after them before shaking her head in a silly way.

Mason just finished talking with two business men. He sighed and checked his wrist watch wondering how long Skyler was going to take in the restroom.

“Grandson” Mario walked up to him, looking happy.

“I’m glad you came over for your sister’s party, your wife is finally making you care about the family” the old man smiled at him.

“Hmm” Mason nodded, still looking around.

“Where is Skyler by the way?” Grandpa Mario asked with his eyes narrowed.

“She went to the restroom for more than thirty minutes and she hasn’t returned,” he replied, sounding a bit worried.

“Then you better check up on her, ladies and the restroom can be best friends and also be good enemies” the old man advised and Mason nodded.

Some of grandpa Mario’s friends called him and he went to meet them. While Mason turned around, he bumped into someone that purposely gave him a letter.

He confusedly opened it and his eyes widened with what he saw.
