Married at First Sight

Chapter 4466

Bethany usually only let family hug her. When strangers tried, she'd instantly pout. Romina and River hadn't exactly been getting along, but now Bethany wanted her to hold her.

Serenity was genuinely surprised.

River picked up Bethany, but the little girl kept reaching for Romina.

Romina stood up, leaned in, and gently took Bethany from River.

"River's sister-in-law," she said with a smile, "your daughter is so adorable-her features are delicate and perfect, she's just lovable at first sight."

"Miss Lafond," Serenity replied, "I'm Serenity. You can just call me Sister Seren." Romina immediately liked Serenity and her kids. Even though River was

annoying, his family was way easier to get along with.

She played with Bethany, and the little girl giggled in her arms.

"Sister Seren, your daughter is even cuter when she smiles. I really like her." Bethany's smile softened Romina's heart. She couldn't help but kiss Bethany on the cheek.

The little girl kissed her back.

River, watching the whole thing, grumbled, "Bethany, I'm your uncle. You haven't seen me in so long, and now that you have, you won't even give me a kiss." What was it about Romina that made Bethany love her so much? She wanted Romina to hold her and gave her a kiss.

"Sister Seren, is her name Bethany?"

Romina held Bethany in her lap.

Looking at her made Romina think how wonderful it would be to have a daughter like this.

She figured if she could have a daughter this sweet in the future, it'd be worth having ten kids.noveldrama

"Yeah," Serenity said. "Her nickname is Belle. Her full name is Bethany York. She's a rare gem-there hasn't been a girl in my husband's family for

generations. So when she was born, she became the baby everyone doted on." "Bethany-that's such a lovely name."

Romina thought to herself, No wonder River spoils her. She's the first girl born into the family in generations.

It made sense he'd love her like his own daughter.

Even though it was Romina's first time meeting Bethany, she instantly liked her. "Sister Seren, did you bring the kids here for a vacation?"

Eaglioncile was a tourist city, and with it being summer break, Romina figured Serenity brought the kids for some fun.

"Exactly," Serenity nodded. "Work's not too busy, and the kids are on summer break, so I figured it was the perfect time to travel. I've always wanted to visit Eaglioncile. Since River works here, we came to see him too."

Serenity and Romina really hit it off.

Romina's grudge was only against River-she had no intention of taking it out on his family.

Especially with these two adorable kids around. She just couldn't be mad.

"There's so much to see and eat in Eaglioncile," Romina offered. "If you're not

sure where to go, I can be your free tour guide."

River cut in, "No need to be so generous. My sister-in-law's here to have fun-I'll

take her around and spend time with my niece and nephew too."

Romina shot back, "You've been in Eaglioncile for five or six years now. How

many attractions have you actually visited? Are you as familiar with this place as I am?"

She was born and raised in Eaglioncile. Her family had lived here for over ten generations.

Romina knew every hidden gem in the city.

River, an outsider, couldn't even compare.
