Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3309 Sasha's Figurine

Shawn had barely managed to hide one hand behind his back when Matthew noticed him looking flustered.

In his other hand, Shawn held a stick with two little dough figures on it.

The craftsmanship of the elderly vendor was truly remarkable. The two little figures were so lifelike they seemed to almost capture a bit of their essence.

Matthew glanced at the figurines, then turned to the vendor, asking, "Could you make me one more, sir?"

"Of course. Any special requests?"

Matthew thought for a moment, recalling Sasha's appearance. After a pause, he described, "Her beauty is beyond compare, like a lotus emerging from the water, pure and flawless. Her eyes are bright, her brows delicate, with a grace like no other. She's like a celestial being..."

The elder scratched his head, clearly at a loss. "Young man, could you maybe show me a picture? My poor brain can't quite conjure up a goddess from imagination."

His eyes grew misty as he spoke, the memories of his younger days stirring within him. Once upon a time, he had stood at a similar stall, enamored by a girl, not unlike how Matthew was now. The descriptions Matthew used sounded almost the same as his own from so long ago.

"My apologies. Here's a picture of her," Matthew said, pulling out his phone and showing the wallpaper-a picture of Sasha.

The elder took one quick glance at the photo and immediately began to shape the dough. He worked with great care this time, taking his time with each detail. After about ten minutes, the figure finally took form in his hands.

When he finally handed over the figurine, Matthew was stunned. It was uncanny, almost as if Sasha herself had been captured in miniature form. The delicate features, the expression-it was as if the little figure was alive.

"Shawn, pay the gentleman," Matthew instructed. He hadn't brought any cash with him, and the elderly vendor's stall didn't accept mobile payments.

"No need," the elder said, waving away the money Shawn tried to offer. "Young man, I feel a certain connection with you. Consider these figurines my gift."

Then, he turned to Matthew, a more serious look in his eyes. "Could I have a word with you, young man?"

"Of course," Matthew replied, turning toward him.

"If one day, you find yourself at a crossroads, needing to make a choice... don hesitate. Don't allow regret to follow you," the elder said, his voice growing softer, filled with unspoken pain. His eyes glistened with unshed tears as if haunted by a memory. Years ago, fear had held him back when he heard that she was getting engaged. If only he had acted differently... his life might not have turned out this way.

The old man saw a reflection of himself in Matthew-the same hidden sorrow. No matter how

deeply someone buried their pain et

those who shared the same grief could sense it in each other. Matthew nodded quietly, his voice soft but firm. "If that day comes,/ won't hesitate."

After leaving the vendor's stall, Matthew continued walking down the street, now holding not only the figurine of Sasha but also the one Shawn had been clutching earlier. He glanced suspiciously at Shawn's hidden hand, wondering what else he might be hiding. Suddenly, a scream cut through the crowd. "A car's out of control! Get out of the way!"

Panic spread as people quickly scattered to either side. A black SUV was barreling toward them at high speed, showing no signs of slowing down.

Inside the vehicle, a young man with black hair, wearing a leather jacket and three rings on his right ear, was angrily slamming his fist against the steering wheel. Beside him sat a beautiful girl, her face pale with fear.

"Mr. Schafer, we're in the middle of a

someone's going to get hurt!" she pleaded, her voice trembling. But then her eyes widened, her attention suddenly fixated on something ahead. She stared in shock, frozen by what she saw.
