The flight to Lotivale would have taken two and a half hours. However, driving there required over ten hours.

In the evening, Madelyn was speeding on the highway when Andrew called her after 10:00 pm.

Madelyn turned on the music to mask the tire noise before answering, “Darling, do you miss me?”

Jason, who had rushed back to Klago City overnight, replied curtly, “Easton flew to Felasko yesterday.”

“And her?” Andrew.pressed.

“There’s no sign of her,” Jason responded.

Since they couldn’t find Madelyn, it meant she likely went with

Easton. Andrew’s eyes flickered dangerously.

Without another word, Andrew hung up the phone. At that
