“Scarlet, Inever expected you to stoop so low. You actually stole the Jones Corporation’s confidential tiles for the new product. Scarlett, all I did was break up with you. Was this really necessary?” he scolded through the phone.

Scarlett’s eyes darkened as a wave of anger surged through her. “Derick, are you out of your mind this early in the morning? Do you honestly think I care about your company’s new product? I’m warning you, don’t go throwing around baseless accusations.”

“Scarlett, Melanie already confessed. She said you called her and asked her to bring you the documents. The new product plans were in that stack and she admitted that you paid her ten thousand dollars to do it.

Derick’s voice was so full of fury it nearly shook the phone

Scarlett wanted to retort but Derick had already hung up.

Sophia noticed Scarlett’s anger and was worried about her. “Ms. Millar…”

Scarlett stood up while her entire being radiated cold fury. “Call Liam. Inced him to investigate Melanie from Jones Corporation. In ten minutes, I want to know everything she’s done in the past few days. Also, tell Cindy to come pick me up. I’m going upstairs to change.”

Sophia quickly made the calls and arranged everything. By the time Scarlett came back downstairs, everything was ready.
