Chapter 365 The Grandson Of The An Family Is Coming (Part One)

'Is Miss Carla carrying a child?' This thought left both Nathan and Rainer completely stunned.

If it was true that she really was expecting, then what would that entail?

'If it's indeed true, then the beloved grandson which the An family has long been waiting for is already

sleeping inside Miss Carla's belly right now. Truly amazing! This means that Mr. Nicholas's wish to

become a great grandfather can finally be brought to fruition in the days to come, ' Nathan and Rainer

secretly pondered.

It should, of course, go without saying that it couldn't possibly compare to what Terence was feeling.

But still, the two of them had been utterly taken by surprise, and at the same time, they just couldn't

Rainer became the designated driver after he left. With overflowing excitement, he got on the driver's

seat and drove at just around twenty miles per hour. He was driving so cautiously, fearing that the An

family's grandson lying in Carla's belly might accidentally end up getting hurt.

Eventually, they managed to get to Carla's home.

Lifting Carla, Terence carried her over to her bed and asked her to take some much-needed rest. Then,

"What do you mean you can't keep the baby? Carla, the child you're carrying in your belly is going to

be the first grandchild of the An family as well as the first great grandchild for my grandfather. And

above all else, it's my child. How could you just go on saying that you don't want to keep it at all? I'm

very disappointed in you!"

After hearing what Carla wanted to tell him, Terence couldn't control his anger. He vehemently rejected

her request in a heartbeat. Maintaining a tight grip on her hand, he tried his best to convince her to

think otherwise.

"Carla, I understand the way that you're feeling right now, given that random thoughts are running

through your head and making it hard to accept the truth right now. But please try to listen to what I

have to say. I am the child's father after all. We should keep this child because it came in a timely

manner, and it will end up being of great help to us.

My grandfather is scheduled to go through surgery. If we tell him about the good news and keep this

child, then I have faith that he will certainly stop being so stubborn and work together with the doctors

and undergo the surgery. What's more, there's a high chance that he's going to make it through the

surgery as well.

If that's still not enough to make you change your mind, then why don't you just do it for us? If we have

this child, no one can ever get in our way again and we can finally be together for good. No one!"

Carla tried to look at it rationally and see it in Terence's perspective. In spite of the fact that she also

thought that he had a point, she found it much more difficult to come up with a way to explain these

things to Noah. In the end, she was still engaged with him.

Then, from out of the blue, something popped up in her mind, and she shot Terence a glance.

She wanted to poke fun at him, so she asked, "How can you be so sure that this child is actually

yours?"

Carla recalled how Terence had been so doubtful of her relationship with Noah before, so she got a bit

upset and planned to get back at him.

"You're not making any sense right now. The doctor mentioned that you're already more than four

weeks pregnant, so it could only been from that time we spent in the underground restaurant last time.

In any case, if you had truly been fooling around with Noah, then why did he have to resort to getting

you drugged up?"

Raising his eyebrows, Terence wanted to prove how proud and confident he was. He was thinking that

Terence interrupted Carla before she could say anything else and calmly broke everything down to her.

already been outside for the whole day, so you must be feeling so tired. Just take this time to rest. Is

there anything that you'd like to have for dinner? I'll get you anything you want."
