Chapter 568 What a Wonderful Woman

Damien had sent his men to follow Clarissa. From there, he received pictures of Clarissa embracing

Seth right after getting out of the plane. Then, the three of them went off to an opulent property that

probably belonged to the Benson family.

When Clarissa had said that she would go to Lotharia alone, she didn’t say she would be going with the

Highmores to visit the Bensons.

Besides, there was also the sudden news of an engagement.

“Damien, you…” Ray stared at Damien.

He had never seen such a vicious light in Damien’s eyes before, nor had he ever seen them so

her, afraid that something might happen to her. Indeed, that she was acting out was his fault. He had

given her too much freedom. He couldn’t be so lenient with her anymore.

He had always been too soft with her. All she had even given him were photos of herself with another

Chanel was currently at home taking care of Logan. When she saw that Damien had come, she was

“What are you doing here?” Chanel was overjoyed from this sudden visit from the man she had been

crushing on for many years.

“Marry me,” Damien said.

Chanel’s ears rang at his words, and there was a buzzing in her brain. She could hardly believe it. She

thought Damien was drunk.

At the same time, her face was flushed red. She looked bashfully at Damien.

“Can you say that again…?” Chanel was rarely as timid as this. However, she was definitely taken

When she had been at Damien’s house before, she had seen Damien and Clarissa’s divorce papers on

“You will be Mrs. Damien Lawrence,” Damien said to Chanel.

“Should… Should we let Clarissa know?” Chanel asked Damien.

“She’ll find out sooner or later,” Damien replied.

“Then, what about me?” Chanel wanted to know what part she would play in this marriage. However,

she knew that she would be able to do whatever she wanted once she gained the title of Mrs.

Lawrence.

“You can come to Hill Villa on weekends.” Damien seemed to be fighting a battle with himself.

“Logan, quick! Come and greet your dad,” Chanel said joyfully to Logan.

Just as Logan was opening his mouth to speak, Damien let out a shout to stop the boy. “Don’t! Don’t

you call me Dad now, or ever.”

Chanel felt torn. But with the way things were, she was convinced she still had time to change

everything.
