“Trying to impress me?”

Asked Elion Copper as he looked at Ella mockingly but she ignored him and continued with what she was doing. This made Elion a little amazed but he pretended as though he wasn’t. Liza who was watching the two of them became very irritated and before everyone’s eyes, she walked to Ella and landed two slaps on her right cheek leaving everyone stunned. Ella was shocked to the core but didn’t say anything. Henry unconsciously ran to Ella to find out if she was okay.

“Ella, are you okay?” Asked Henry with so much concern.

“Why don’t you book a hotel room for the two of you rather than romancing her in front of me.”

Said Elion Copper mockingly.

“Master Elion, she complained of a migraine headache this morning reason why I…” Henry tried explaining but was interrupted by Elion Copper .

“Slut, you are really smarter than I thought. You have already seduced my PA to the extent that you are already running to him to fake a headache? How smart.”

Elion said mockingly.

“Master Elion, I overheard her complaining to one of the chefs at home so…” Henry, who knew his explanation was perfect, was shocked to be interrupted by his boss arrogantly.

“Are you already in love with her? You just overheard her talking to someone and you haven’t forgotten about it? It’s not even up to 24 hours and you two are already showcasing your love everywhere which means in the next few days, weeks or years, you will have kids flying everywhere.”

“God forbid.” Responded Ella.

“Is this what this is all about? No one is talking about this slut insulting and threatening me just now. Elion, didn’t you hear her insult me?”

“Miss, you can’t call me a slut.” Warned Ella

“Says who? What right do you think you have to warn my guest? Are you stupid or so foolish that you don’t even know you amount to nothing?” Replied Elion Copper .

“Elion, I’m not just a guest? I’m your childhood friend and have always stayed by your side.”

Liza hurriedly chipped in with a very seductive voice.

“Slave, kneel down and raise your hands up.” Elion instructed angrily.

“But Young Master Elion, she insulted me, she called me a prostitute, a slut and my husband a baboon…” Ella tried explaining but was ignored blatantly by Elion.

“I won’t repeat myself again.” Said Elion while looking at her with his domineering eyes.

In tears, Ella knelt down and tears ran uncontrollably down her cheeks. In less than no time, Henry looked at his wristwatch and told his boss that it was time for the next meeting. The three of them left, leaving Ella in the office still kneeling.

Ella didn’t realise how much time had passed and she was very tired and dizzy. Just then, she started grumbling to herself without realising that Elion Copper, Liza and Henry had walked into the office.

“Wicked man, heartless man, always very grumpy and arrogant, stubborn brat, spoiled brat. Master Elion, you are very stupid and weak. Even my husband that you mocked everyday for being a cripple and disfigured is not weak at all. You that is very able have let yourself be controlled by a woman. Stupid fool. You are a fool that is stupidly foolish. I’m the innocent one yet I have been kneeling for more than five hours. That husband barber that you call your childhood friend called somebody’s husband a baboon and you said nothing and you are rather punishing me. Since I came to your house yesterday till now, I haven’t eaten anything. The only thing I’ve been eating in abundance are slaps. And people will think that you have sense when it’s only your appearance that makes you look like you have sense. Handsome idiot, handsome fool, stupid man. If they leave the two of us in the same place, I will beat the hell out of you and when I’m done, I will lock the door and swallow the key so you rod inside the house. Foolish fool.

Henry, who was glued to the same spot as he listened to the insults, was trying all he could to suppress his laughter. In order not to laugh, he walked towards Ella who was kneeling with her back against the door and hit the back of her head with the folder in his right hand causing Ella to lose guard due to shock and fear as she knew she had been caught red-handed. As soon as she turned, she saw just Henry and she immediately started begging him.

“Sir Henry, please don’t tell Master Elion that I was…”

“Calling him a handsome man? You are really so cheap.” Replied Elion Copper while walking elegantly towards Ella.

“Master Elion, please I’m sorry. I’m really sorry sir. I will never insult you again. Please forgive me. It’s all my fault Master Elion please I’m sorry.”

Ella kept begging for mercy but was completely ignored by Elion who walked back to the door followed by Henry. Just when Henry was about to close the door, Elion’s words left Ella shocked to the core.

“Take this night to reflect on the gravity of what you have done.” Elion said and walked away without giving Ella any chance to explain herself or beg for mercy.

“That serves you right. You are absolutely nothing and still have the guts to tempt those you can’t afford to hurt. Who do you think you are to insult Elion? He has done a great job by leaving you to spend your night in this whole company all alone but I’m still not satisfied.”

Liza looked at Henry and signalled him with her head to leave. When Henry left, Liza smiled, looked at the AC and walked towards the table. She picked up the remote control and increased the speed to the highest level leaving Ella exposed to unbearable cold throughout the whole night. When she was done, she carefully wiped the remote control and used a tissue to take it to Ella and forced her to hold it with her bare hands. When she confirmed that she had cleared all the evidence, she left very happy with her head high up.
