LORD CHESTER COMES BACK

Chapter 35: I’ll be there for the funeral tomorrow!

Jun Chester was infuriating!

He was still the same as in high school, unable to speak properly.

All he knew was cultivation!

He was even more straightforward than an iron plate!

But after scolding Jun Chester, Sandra Simpson regretted it immediately.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Who did she think he was?

He was a member of the Chester family!

If he was really a direct descendant of the Chester family!

Would a few hundred billion be a problem for him?

He was the brother-in-law of the richest woman in Lordran.

Who was she?

How dare she lose her temper in front of Jun Chester?

Sandra Simpson felt a chill of fear.

But looking at Jun Chester’s expression now, it seemed he didn’t take her words seriously.

Sandra Simpson was skeptical.

“Are you… really Mrs. Chester’s brother-in-law?”

Jun Chester didn’t answer.

“Are the words on the ground really written by the Supreme Lord?”

Jun Chester still didn’t answer.

Sandra Simpson’s heart raced.

Whether everything that happened today was true or not, Jun Chester was definitely not the same Jun Chester as before.

So, she absolutely couldn’t waste this resource!

At the very least, she had to get the painting Woods Randall promised her!

At this moment, Bella, who had gone to prepare tea, returned with a few people.

Tea and paperwork were all set.

Then, Bella stood aside and didn’t dare say anything.

Woods Randall had no time for tea, as he was busy with Harold Pritchard working on the seal imprint.

Jun Chester wasn’t idle either, instructing Bella.

“Notify all members of the Chester family. From now on, without my permission, no one is allowed to enter Chester Fortress.”

“Next, I’m going to build a public institution here.”

Bella was stunned.

“A public institution? So, you’re going to donate the whole Chester Fortress?”

Jun Chester spoke indifferently.

“This land originally belonged to my mother’s legacy, and her dying wish was to establish a world-class public institution here!”

“Of course, I have to help her fulfill her wish!”

Bella felt a wave of dissatisfaction in her heart, but she dared not defy him. She just said gently, “I need to consult everyone’s opinions, and besides, we haven’t held a funeral for your father yet. It’s not quite appropriate to donate this land now.”

A chill flashed in Jun Chester’s eyes. “Bella, I’m just informing you. If you don’t pass on this message, I’ll just do it in person.”

Bella’s face showed uncertainty as she asked apprehensively, “If I support you in doing this, will you… let me go?”

Jun Chester took a sip of tea. “That’s a separate matter.”

Bella felt as if she were on the edge of an abyss. It seemed that Jun Chester still had no intention of letting her go. Sandra Simpson, as an outsider, was shocked to the core by their conversation. It appeared that Bella must have some leverage in Jun Chester’s hands, or else she wouldn’t be acting this way!

She had never expected that Jun Chester would have such a high status in the Chester family. Also, was Jun Chester’s father Wilfrid Chester? As far as she knew, Bella was Mrs. Chester! Hadn’t Bella just called Jun Chester her brother-in-law? But she should be Jun Chester’s stepmother! What was going on? And… Wilfrid Chester had actually passed away!? When did that happen?

Jun Chester paid no more attention to Bella and made a phone call. “Blake Charlton, are you still the honorary president of Aytwhistdon University?”

Blake Charlton’s voice quickly came from the other end. “Yes! Lord Chester, what can I do for you?”

Jun Chester briefly explained his intention to build a public school to Blake Charlton. Half an hour later, Blake Charlton arrived by car. His first words upon arrival shocked everyone present.

“Master, rest assured, I’ll take care of the design for the main building and the gardens of Lordran National College!”

Sandra Simpson, standing nearby, was stunned, her mouth hanging open. Blake Charlton! What did he call Jun Chester? Master? And she had just said that Jun Chester had never been to college? Now, Aytwhistdon University’s president from twenty years ago, now its honorary president, was standing before Jun Chester, calling him Master! What on earth was happening today? Was she dreaming?

She secretly pinched her arm hard. Ah! Ouch! It hurt… It was real! Everything happening before her eyes was real!

Jun Chester looked at Blake Charlton indifferently and frowned. “I’m no master.”

Blake Charlton grinned. “Colbert agreed to let me follow him!”

Jun Chester looked away, ignoring Blake Charlton. Bella saw Blake Charlton reappear and awkwardly called out to him. “Father.”

Blake Charlton immediately looked a bit embarrassed. “Don’t call me like that; I don’t have such a daughter. Also, hand over my family crest immediately! Or else, you’ll regret it!”

Bella felt even more desperate. She had once again shot herself in the foot! Just then, her phone rang. It was a call from David Chester. He conveyed three things to Bella: He would attend Wilfrid Chester’s funeral; he intended to inherit all the Chester family’s property; and he would arrive tomorrow. So, the funeral should be moved up because he didn’t have time to waste.

Bella was troubled. “Your brother has already decided to donate Chester Fortress and turn it into a public school!”

David Chester’s mocking laughter came through the phone. “You mean that bastard Jun Chester?”

Bella’s face turned pale with fright. Jun Chester was sitting right in front of her, and she believed he must have heard David’s words. Bella didn’t dare to respond.

David Chester’s voice came through again. “Jun Chester is not qualified to be my brother. Let him get lost as far as possible! Also, make tomorrow’s funeral grander. I’m not coming back alone; Cyand’s minister’s daughter, Alice, is now my fiancée. She’ll return with me!”

“Other countries will also send representatives, and they’re all coming for me. So, don’t disgrace me, or else… Now that old man Wilfrid Chester is dead, it’s just you and your daughter left. I never laid a finger on you before because of him, but now… Heh, clean yourself up and wait for me!”

At that, David Chester hung up. Bella’s face twisted with anger, her body trembling. Jun Chester had just listened to David Chester’s instructions to Bella without any expression on his face. He simply said, “I’ll be at the funeral tomorrow.”
