Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 1456

The dozen or so beginner Sanctuary level cultivators immediately started coughing up blood before exploding into bloody clouds in the seawater.

The mid and peak Sanctuary level cultivators could hardly stop vomiting blood either. All that were left were the seven Super Sanctuary level cultivators holding on for dear life, but their expressions twisted with agony as well.

The seawater that Atrus had parted previously also converged back together after Wilbur had uttered the word 'Surge'.

The Sword of the Void could hardly withstand the terrifying pressure anymore, and Atrus spat out a big mouthful of blood that dyed the seawater around him red.

The others continued sinking further into the sea, as if they were falling down a bottomless abyss.

The dozen or so mid Sanctuary level cultivators eventually exploded as well.

The remaining peak Sanctuary level cultivators began vomiting large amounts of blood, and it was clear they could barely hold on any longer.

The seven Super Sanctuary level cultivators were bleeding profusely out of their orifices, their expressions twisted in agony.

Just then, Atrus' expression finally became calm once more.

"You've won. Let them go," his voice rang in Wilbur's consciousness.

Wilbur stared coldly at Atrus, saying nothing. The power of the Funeral of Sky and Sea was still active.

Atrus smiled bitterly. He reached into his chest, breaking skin and clutching his heart. "It's all my fault. They were just following my orders. Please, don't kill them all. I'm begging you."

Following that, Atrus crushed his own heart without a shred of hesitation. Blood gushed out at an alarming rate, and his body exploded into a cloud of blood.

Wilbur fell silent.

Two mid Sanctuary level cultivators exploded.

The remaining Sanctuary level cultivators stared pitifully at Wilbur, pleading for their lives, unable to hide their hopelessness.

Wilbur sneered and dismissed the Funeral of Sky and Sea.

All the pressure disappeared at once. The spiritual pressure channeled by the other cultivators pushed them through the surface of the water as their chests heaved like they were fish starved of water.

Each of the remaining survivors was also heavily injured, suffering from broken organs to morphed physique. Those injuries would take roughly a decade to recover from.

Just then, Wilbur soared above the water and looked down. "I don't care what reasons you had, but wanting to kill me at all is the worst mistake you can make. However, since you're willing to admit your mistake, I won't kill all of you."

He let out a sigh after that.noveldrama

Wilbur had even prepared a special move for Atrus.

After contributing the monster core, he had actually mastered the fourth chapter of the Dawn of Twelve Chapters.

It was a pity that his powers had also improved after the contribution.

On top of that, he had also happened to cast the Funeral of Sky and Sea in the sea, increasing its power even further.

Atrus did not even make it to the third chapter.

To tell the truth, Atrus would have been able to hold on until all the Sanctuary level cultivators had died. After all, his spiritual energy was miles ahead of theirs.

It was just that Atrus could not see any more hope, nor did he want all the Elites of Westeria to go down altogether. That was why he had chosen to end himself in an attempt to save the remaining elites.

Wilbur had kindly agreed to sparing the Sanctuary level cultivators.

He scanned their faces.

All at once, the cultivators knelt on the water in a clear gesture of respect to Wilbur.

The mighty would always be superior, and this had not changed since the dawn of humanity.

Wilbur sneered, soaring into the air and leaving a trail of spiritual flames behind him as he landed on the dock by the shore.

The entire dock sank a few meters under the pressure, causing roaring waves to crash past it.
