That battle between the two Emperor level elites had gone on for a good few minutes.

It was important to note that battles of this level were usually over within two to three minutes, most of them even ending with just one round.

"Master Atrus won!" someone shouted excitedly.

The Ambience level elites nodded as well. There was no reason that Atrus would lose, after all.

He was an impossibly powerful existence, on top of the fifty-three Sanctuary cultivators and seven Super Sanctuary cultivators he had to help him out. There would be something terribly wrong if he failed to win the fight.

"Of course he did! No one ever doubted Master Atrus' victory," someone smiled.

"Yes, that last attack was one of Master Atrus' ultimate powers! No one's surviving that fatal blow, that's for sure."

The people at the dock had broken out into laughs and chatter, celebrating Atrus' win.

Lindon and the others, however, were pale in the face as they swayed on their feet.

They would be in terrible danger if Wilbur really was dead, and it was definitely too late to run now.

International flights did not take off every single day, and the people at customs were not to be messed with either. If the country's authorities stopped them from crossing the border, there was no leaving for them.

This meant that they would have to face the wrath of Atrus' men, and everyone related to Wilbur would get it as well.

This was not overthinking on their behalf in the slightest. Every single one of these figures in power was equally ruthless.

Not only were Lindon and the others associated with Wilbur, but they were also considered to be walking ATMs. There would be no escape for them as long as they had the slightest connection to Wilbur.

A sense of hopelessness overtook Lindon and the others. Elise was the only one with hope on her face, clenching her little fists as she looked at the water.

"What's that?" someone shouted all of a sudden.

All that could be seen was the glow of spiritual flames lighting up above the water. The people got a fright. Was the battle now over yet?

Lindon and the others turned sharply, with hope returning to their hearts at once. Elise was all the more overwhelmed with emotion.

Just then, the effects of Wilbur's Dragon Safehaven had finally ended.

He stared coldly at Atrus. "Now that you're done with your show, I guess it's my turn."

"How? How were you able to withstand my fatal blow? Tell me!" Atrus screamed as if he had lost his mind.

Wilbur paid him no mind, crying out, "The Twelve Pages of the Divine Symphony: Third Chapter: Funeral of Sky and Sea!"

The Dirge of Despair and the Dark Conflagration of the Abyss disappeared, but Wilbur's terrifying spiritual energy began to surge out as he lit up with spiritual flames that shot into the sky and glowed across the water.

The area within a hundred-meter radius around him was filled with spiritual

energy, turning to seawater before merging with the ocean.

Atrus and all sixty of his cultivators were drowned by the seawater at once, beginning to sink downward.

"What's this?" Atrus roared in fury and terror as he sank.

The other sixty Sanctuary cultivators were all the more terrified.

The terrifying spiritual pressure and the pressure of the seawater only made the fear in them grow as they sank lower and lower.

They felt as if they would explode from the pressure in no time and had no choice but to channel their spiritual energy in an attempt to break out of the water.

The power of the Funeral of Sky and Sea was capable of dragging everyone within the area of the water down into it, sinking endlessly.

The terrifying power would drain them of their spiritual energy, and then cause them to explode.

The fact that they were all battling above an ocean made this power all the more deadly.
