Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 1452

The Sword of the Void grew in size while in Atrus' grasp. "I have four main powers when my domain's activated. Juggernaut, with a one percent chance to bypass defense and cause a fatal blow; Electroshock, where the third attack would result in a critical hit; Precision, which increases the speed of the attack; Prana, for me to restore part of my spiritual energy while attacking my enemy."

Wilbur's expression shifted into something much less comfortable after hearing those words.

Although the one percent chance of the Juggernaut being able to ignore the enemy's defenses to cause a fatal blow did not sound like much, it being a matter of life and death made it an impossibly risky gamble on just when that one percent chance would trigger.

The Electroshock was also a dangerous component of the battle, as every critical hit would take up a large amount of spiritual energy to defend oneself against.

On top of that, Atrus was already able to utilize his ability of spatial displacement. Having Precision would only make him all the more dangerous.

Last of all, the Prana was basically the Dark Conflagration of the Abyss' worst nightmare. It could be said that Atrus' powers so far had Wilbur completely beaten.

Every Emperor level cultivator was a terrifying existence in the specific ways they had to kill their opponents, even if these opponents were also Emperor level elites.

Atrus saw Wilbur's darkening expression, and said, "Now that you know of my powers, what do you have to say?"noveldrama

Wilbur looked at the historical halberd in his grasp. "You're just trying to wage psychological warfare against me to mess with my head and lower my combat skill. That's the only reason you're telling me all this, aren't you? I have to say, though, you really are ruthless, aren't you? You've got such powerful skills and so many Sanctuary level cultivators, and you still want to beat me down even further using psychological warfare."

Atrus' gaze flickered with confusion for a second. "You could tell. Not bad. I'm just trying to ensure my victory."

"You've already got a pretty good chance at winning. Do you really need to be that careful still?" Wilbur asked.

Atrus' expression turned stern again. "My apologies. I need to win over your reason. It's time for you to die, sir."

Following that, Atrus charged toward Wilbur once more with the Sword of the Void leaving a trail of shadows in its wake.

Wilbur activated his Godly Training Form, facing the battle head-on.

Under the effects of Atrus' domain, his attacks grew in speed. Every three attacks would bring about a critical hit as well, forcing Wilbur to channel a large amount of his spiritual energy against that.

On top of that, there was also the risk of the one percent fatal attack being activated.

Despite Atrus' expression looking twisted with agony and grief as the Dark Conflagration of the Abyss continued sucking spiritual energy out of him, he actually began gaining in as the battle went on. Atrus remained impossibly calm, practically having Wilbur's Dark Conflagration of the Abyss under control as his strengths continued to shine.

Both figures wove through the air at the speed of lightning as their weapons clashed wildly, causing explosions and spiritual flames to erupt into the water and bring about wild tides.

The Sanctuary level spellmasters also took the chance to cast a few spells at Wilbur, trying to disrupt his attacks.

Under these intense conditions, Wilbur was fighting a tough battle despite having the Godly Training Form.

Atrus brought the sword down, bringing about a critical hit that sent Wilbur retreating backward. Atrus cast another few sword attacks, all while roaring, "Just give it up! You're never going to defeat me. I promise to let you have a respectable death."

"You motherf*cker, I'll make sure you're the one who ends up dead!"

How dare this bastard make a threat sound so glorious and honorable? Wilbur retorted sharply at once, launching into a wild counter-attack as he swung the historical halberd toward Atrus mercilessly.

Atrus' expression was positively icy as the one percent fatal attack came closer and closer to being triggered.

Right on cue, a brilliantly-colored glow shot out of the Sword of the Void in one of Atrus' attacks.

Atrus was overjoyed. The fatal blow had just been activated.
