Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 1445

That night, every cultivator from the Sanctuary level and above received Atrus' order.

They did not hesitate as they rushed to Morburn in the fastest way possible.

Fifty-three Sanctuary level experts and seven Super Sanctuary level experts were there. Hundreds of Ambience level experts came along to witness the excitement as well.

It was the battle of a century, one that no cultivator wanted to miss, or they would regret for the rest of their lives.

...

The next afternoon, Wilbur sat on the castle's watchtower and looked at the splendid view of the sea.

Suddenly, Hans and Charlie hurriedly rushed up.

"Is the passport ready?" Wilbur said without looking back.

Hans was sweating as he stammered out, "It's done."

Wilbur frowned and turned to look at the two, "Is something wrong?"

Hans looked at his father before he said, "Sir, Westeria's strongest cultivator, Atrus, ordered all Sanctuary level experts in the country to gather here to prepare to attack you."

"Atrus wants to attack me?" Wilbur asked, puzzled.

Hans was sweating heavily, but Charlie calmly explained, "Atrus Wood is an Emperor level powerhouse who commands the cultivation world in Westeria. They said that you killed Governor Wynna and Director Morries, so they issued the order to kill you. I've publicly claimed responsibility for their murders and said that it has nothing to do with you."

After Wilbur heard that, he paused for a moment before he said with a slight smile, "Whether you admit it or not doesn't really matter."

"Why?" Charlie asked in confusion.

Wilbur smiled and said, "He wants to kill me, and just needs a reason. The reason doesn't really matter."

"Why does he want to kill you?"

Hans was extremely puzzled. As fellow powerhouses at the Emperor level, their

level of power was such that a battle would definitely result in the death of either party.

Why would Atrus do that?

Even though he had brought so many Sanctuary level experts to give him an incredible advantage, a battle between Emperor level cultivators was incredibly dangerous no matter how you looked at it. What was the point?

Wilbur turned to look at the sea and said slowly, "There's always a reason. Battles between powerful individuals have always been a form of cultivation anyway. You'll only be able to gain better insights in the face of life and death, or maybe he just doesn't like me. After all, I'm just a foreigner here, and people have territories just like animals do. For instance, this castle is your territory, and you wouldn't easily allow others to do as they please here."

Hans fell silent. The reasoning did make sense.

"It's also possible that he's just too bored. He stands at the lonely peak and is invincible, but high places are chilly. He might just want someone to play with," Wilbur said with a smile, "No matter what, I admire his courage. I'll wait for him here."

Charlie frowned. "Sir, the situation is very unfavorable to you. If you can, you should leave."

"Leave? Then what about you?" Wilbur smiled.

Charlie said, "I will take the responsibility of killing Wynna and Morris. As your follower, I have a duty to protect you."

"Haha, then what about you?" Wilbur looked at Hans.

Hans was sweating like a waterfall, but he gritted his teeth and said, "I will bear the responsibility together with my father."noveldrama

Wilbur nodded, facing the sea, and said, "I'm comforted that you say that, but I'm looking forward to Atrus' arrival. It's been a long time since I had a decent opponent."

Both Charlie and Hans were shocked.

An Emperor level powerhouse, seven Super Sanctuary level cultivators, and fifty- three Sanctuary level cultivators.

It was almost the power of a whole country, so why was Wilbur so confident? Wilbur said calmly, "This sea will be our battlefield. Tell Atrus I'll be waiting for him there."

After he finished, Wilbur leaped hundreds of meters into the air, landing on the sea surface before he sprinted away, leaving behind a trail of white waves as he disappeared in an instant.
