Chapter 115 To Mr Harris

Nathael’s expression visibly darkened as he stared intently at Maggie. With a cold smirk on his face, he taunted. “Ms. Adam’s tactics seem to be increasing by the day.”

The apology that was on the tip of Maggie’s tongue was swallowed back, choked up by that remark.

This man started to address her as ‘Ms. Adam‘ again.

But even though it’s the same title, it doesn’t sound the same.

Maggie curved her eyes, her smile more sardonic than sincere. “My tactics have always been varied; Mr. Harris is hardly new to this.”

Stung by the comeback, Nathael pursed his lips as he glared at her with inscrutable eyes.

Maggie wasn’t intimidated. She said softly, “Mr. Harris, aren’t you going to change your clothes? Or, would you like me to help?”

She watched him with a half–smile on her face. There was a hint of annoyance; unlike her usual indifference, she was on alert and ready to strike.

The flight attendant quickly came over to assist Nathael with his clothing.

Nathael thanked her, then stood up with a somber expression.

A few minutes later, Maggie saw him return in a different outfit, having swapped his suit for a white shirt and black trousers, a more casual look that seemed more relaxed.

Maggie smacked her lips. She still had the sunglasses on, as if she hadn’t noticed his return.

A fair and slender hand passed a paper bag to her.

Maggie paused briefly. Her gaze followed the hand to Nathael’s face.

“Ms. Adam seems not to be planning to take responsibility, Nathael said in a deep voice as he placed the paper bag on the table in front of Maggie.

Maggie smiled and looked at Nathael. She asked, “What do you want me to take responsibility for?”

Nathael scoffed coldly. “Use your brain.”

After he spoke, he picked up the book he had been reading before and continued to flip through it.

Maggie bit her lip. She cast a glance inside the paper bag to find his recently changed clothes neatly folded and kept inside.

After a while, Maggie let outa sigh. She placed the bag at her feet, which was considered an act to accept her responsibility.

However, she had no idea that a man like Nathael would be short of a set of clothes.

Clearly, he was making things difficult for her.

After a good night’s sleep and meal, Maggie was bored and unable to watch a movie because of the discomfort Nathael’s presence caused her.

Staring blankly at the darkness outside the window for a while, she took out her drawing book and started to sketch her designs. Then, she continued for over two hours until her neck and shoulders ached.

Holding the pen, she couldn’t help but glance at the man beside her.

He was still reading. The pages in his hands were noticeably thinner than when they boarded the plane. She was impressed by his focus.

With this thought in mind, she sketched a rough outline of him.

Perhaps those in the design line had some drawing talent. Despite not being serious, the sketch quickly took on the appearance of a man, capturing Nathael’s essence, if not his exact likeness.

Upon closer inspection, it didn’t seem particularly similar, but the most important thing was the resemblance. With just a few strokes, it managed to make others immediately associate the person on the paper with Nathael.

After adding a few more strokes, since Maggie had nothing better to do, she began to write.

She soon filled the paper with scribbles.

Then Nathael heard the sound of paper tearing. Maggie’s expression remained calm as she tore a page from her sketchbook and folded it.

Nathael couldn’t help but glance over and meet Maggie’s concerned gaze.

Maggie softened her gaze, showed a hint of apology, and showed rare tenderness. She patiently asked, “Mr. Harris, did I disturb you?”

Nathael swallowed, diverting his gaze, not expecting any good intentions from her.

Maggie raised an eyebrow. A mischievous glint sparkled in her eyes. She folded the paper several more

times.

Nathael ostensibly focused on his book, but he absent–mindedly watched her actions.

Maggie tore off a piece of paper and folded it into an envelope, presumably sensing his gaze. She then stuffed the previously drawn piece of paper inside. A few words appeared immediately on the front of the envelope.

To Mr. Harris

Nathael caught a glimpse of the word “Harris” from the corner of his eye, which piqued his interest.

It’s for me?

Could it be that this woman still has a bit of conscience?

Surprisingly, Maggie slowly placed the letter aside. She turned on the TV again and began to pick another INVIE

Well, the person who can’t focus on their task now shouldn’t be her.

Nathael waited for a dozen minutes, but there was no sign from Maggie that she intended to give him the

letter.

He couldn’t help but close his book, order a cup of coffee, and make some noise.

Despite this, Maggie didn’t even glance in his direction. Maggie watched the movie with great concentration, her eyes glued to the screen.

Nathael frowned. He was a little annoyed.

Another dozen minutes passed, and Maggie was still watching the movie. Nathael had finished the cup of

coffee.

Isn’t it for me?

Why hasn’t she given it to me yet?

Nathael’s gaze fell back on the envelope on the table, placed just beyond his reach, occasionally visible beneath Maggie’s arm as she moved.

The words ‘Mr. Harris‘ were itching at him.

Even though he knew it might be just another of her inexplicable schemes, in the end, he could never control his yearning for her.

Nathael’s eyes landed on her face, and she fell into a daze.

She was wearing a comfortable, loose, yellow long dress. Her hair was casually tied to one side. Probably because of her nap earlier, her hair was a bit messy now.

Under the dim light of the cabin, her face appeared fair, aloof, yet gentle.

It must have been a funny scene in the movie; a trace of laughter appeared in her eyes. She laughed out loud. In that instant, her indifferent face brightened up, like nature revived in the spring after the ice and snow had melted.

Nathael forced himself to look away, knowing he shouldn’t keep looking.

He had previously changed flights and seats with Alex’s assistance. He had lost control, and he knew very well that he shouldn’t continue to indulge.

All was quiet. After Maggie took a couple more short naps, the plane finally began to land.

After Maggie collected her things, she couldn’t help but glance at the man beside her.

He was probably recuperating a bit uncomfortable due to the plane landing, and his brows were slightly furrowed. His face appeared pale, cold, and detached.

Maggie’s throat tightened. She actually couldn’t help but want to ask if he was still mad at her.

She knew, without asking, that he was still mad at her because of his attitude.

Sigh. Men are really hard to please. Nathael is even harder to please.
