Chapter 85 The concert

Chapter 85 The concert

“Where are we going now?” Levi gasped.

But even Levi Song was out of breath, let alone Belle Ye. Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

She was breathing heavily and was unable to spoke a word out of her mouth.

After half a minute, Belle finally began to recover her breath, and she straightened up but noticed Levi was staring at her with eyes full of laughter, so she drew her sights off him shyly.

“Well, I heard there will be a concert in the stadium today. It’s just I don’t know whether we can get tickets right now.”

A concert?

Levi did not expect this. He was not involved in the entertainment business, nor his family, so he knew little about this.

He took out his phone and looked it up.

“It’s Qu Mengtong. You like her, Bell?”

“Yeah. Her songs were good, and her movies, too.”

Qu Mengtong was one of the most successful ones of the new generation in the entertainment business. Though she built her career abroad, she went back to Gang City for a concert ever two years because she was born and raised here.

The tickets were sold out in half-day after the sale started, but still, Levi got themselves two front-seat tickets. Belle asked Echo for her leave and then drove to the stadium.

“Mr. Mo, Belle Ye asked for leave. Do you want her followed?” Echo Xu called Ethan Mo immediately after she was gone.

On the other end of the line, Ethan spoke in a cold tone after a silence.

“No, I got plans.”

His words did not reassure her at all.

“Belle shouldn’t be far now. I heard she is going to a concert or something.”

Ethan hung up before she continued.

“Whew, how can he got so much time on this.” She sighed.

Echo felt like she was walking on thin ice under Ethan Mo’s watch, while as for Belle Ye, she had to count on herself now.

Outside the stadium, countless amounts of people gathered still, with a few fans that could not get tickets in them. Levi and Belle went there early and found their seats. Levi kept a low profile as usual, but as the manager of a star, recognition of rich and powerful people was one of the jobs.

“The eldest son of the Song family?” Hearing the name of Levi Song from her manager, Qu Mengtong was surprised. “You sure it’s the Levi Song? From the Song family?”

“Yes, I’m sure. And he brought a girl here, though I didn’t see her face in a distance. He probably tried to be sweet to the girl to bring her here.” The manager of Qu made her guesses in that way because Levi Song had been very low-key, for which he seldom showed up in concerts of such activities.

But low-key as he was, being one of the richest people in the country, Levi was still well known in the business. After some reflection, Qu nodded her head and told her assistant. “Treat him as a VIP, and

remember if any of our staff ran into him, be very polite, but also don’t do it too much. Making him comfortable is the purpose.”

“Copy that, Ms. Mengtong. And it’s about time to get on stage.”

“After this, you can ask him to have dinner with you as a thank to his presence. If you got the support of his family, your career would reach to a whole new level. ”Her manager cut in.

“It’s not necessary.” Qu raised her eyebrows. “You really think I need to find a sponsor in person now?”

“Never mind, I’m just saying.” Her manager stopped talking.

Eight in the evening, the concert began.

Thousands of audiences in the stadium broke into loud applause at the same time as the lamps lit up the central stage. In the light and cheers, Qu was lifted slowly to the stage, and then, drifting with the wind her fantastic figure set fire in the air.

Followed dreamily the pure and clear voice passing through every corner of the stadium. Around the central stage, countless light sticks were waved and twinkling, together with the mix of whistles and singing sounds in the audiences, it enchanted Belle.

Levi took a squint at Belle. She supported her chin with arms, losing herself in the song. The rare concentration and earnest showed on her skinny yet fine profile.

She was obsessed with the song and he was to her. No beautiful voice could distract him from her. He liked her concentration, the obsession, the slightly closed eyes, and the long lash covering eyelids.

It would be heaven if it could last forever.

Belle was fond of Qu Mengtong, and it was obvious because she did not open her mouth until the concert was over. While Levi just enjoyed his view during the whole time and told himself that wherever Qu had another a concert, he would bring Belle to it.

After two hours, the concert met its end. Qu took her bow and left while Belle was still immersed in the atmosphere. Leve gave her a pat and then she recovered to herself.

“She is good, isn’t she?” Levi looked at her with a lovely smile.

Belle nodded her head and then she thought of something.

“Mr. Song, I want to write her a letter. Could you find someone to deliver it to her?”

A letter?

Levi blinked for a second to reflect her words.

“You mean write her a letter as a fan to express how much you love her songs?”

“Yes. I’ve always liked her, but people like me might never have the chance to tell her that in person.”

Levi did not think of her as a woman that would do such a girlish act, so what she asked was quite a pleasure for him. He smiled at her and asked the staff for paper and pen.

“Write whatever you want. I give you my word, Qu Mengtong will see it.”
