Chapter 70: Levi's Confession

Suddenly, Ethan stopped his steps and all he could think in his mind was that pale face without any color of blood.

Echo was expecting his answer but Ethan just stopped for a second then left without turning his head back. He did not even left a word of worrying. From that moment, Echo believed what that silly girl said was totally true.

Mr, Mo hated even Belle's guts.

Echo felt very sorry for the silly girl. Mr. Mo had cut her income. It was obvious that he was planning to lock her at his side forever. What made Echo confused was that why would he keep her at his own side by fair means or foul?

Should she tell the silly girl the truth?

Echo was hesitating. She was afraid of that this silly girl would lost the hope of living if she told the truth.

"Echo, I'm begging you... Please." Belle gripped the lower side of her clothes and even her eyes were begging. It seemed that the right of live or die of her was all in control of Echo.

Unfortunately, the man who was controlling that was not Echo at all. Echo sighed and she remembered what Ethan said that day,"Belle, were you very close to that Mr. Song?"

"What?" Belle was stunned since Echo changed the topic suddenly. Then she realized that Mr. Song Echo talked about was Levi.

"Echo, it is not like what you think about Mr. Song and I."

"Belle, I know you very well. Since our relationship, I'd like to remind you two things. Firstly, cut the connection with Mr. Song. Secondly, if Mr. Song really likes you, you'd better to hook on him tightly and ask him to help you out from here."

Echo made her choice and finally she could not just let Belle rot here.

According to Levi's status, even though he liked Belle, he could not marry her to his family. But Mr. Mo was still worried about Song family. With Mr. Song as the backup, perhaps, Belle could escape from here.

In the end, Belle came with hopes but gone with disappointments.

Levi had not seen Belle for several days. But his enthusiasm was higher and higher. He would come to find her every day no matter why she hide herself from him. One day, he would find her so Levi was not worrying at all.

Belle suddenly remembered what Echo said. If she could hook on Levi, perhaps, she could escape from Ethan with the help of Song family.

Ethan would consider seriously even though he would like to stop her since the influence of Song family.

Barry had to follow them after he got the order.

"Are you very busy recently?" Levi had not seen her for a long time. Every time when he thought about that she was working in that kind of place, he felt weired in his mind.

"So so." Oppositely, she had nothing to do these days.

Levi looked at her deeply,"Belle, are you hungry? How about we go to have something to eat? What would you like?"

"Sorry, I'm very tired. I'd like to go back to the dorm."

"Alright, let me send you back."

It was not far from the club to the dorm. Therefore Levi did not drive the car willfully. He'd like to walk with Belle slowly like that. On the way, he tried his best to think up funny stories to tell Belle. As he talked, the topic turned to about the company.

"I had promissed my father that I would stay in Gang City these two years. I will work from the basic level and train my abilities gradually." Levi told all his situations to Belle.

"In fact, in the past, I don't like to stay here. This city made me feel choking. There is too much pressure on me." Levi continued,"I prepered to do the things I like rather than family business. By the

way, do you know what I want to do?"

Belle was paused for a second then she shook her head,"I don't know."

"I'd like to be a policeman."

Belle was very surprised.

When Levi talked about his major, his tone was happier. A bright smile showed on the corners of his mouth,"Surprised, aren't you? I wanted to be a cool policeman since I was a kid. I served in army for two years after the college. Then, my family disagreed with me to stay in the army so I left there. For that, I had a long time of coldwar with my father. My grandfather nearly went to hospital since he was too angry about me. Unexpectedly, I came back to Gang City in the end."

"After I came back, I found that I did not regret at all."

That was because that he met Belle in this city.

Belle knew that clearly in her mind. She could understand the meaning of what he said. But she did not say nothing but pursed her mouth tightly.

Levi looked at her with a serious expression when they arrived at the dorm. It was like that he was trying to print her figure into his brain firmly.
