As she is about to start to eating, Mia coughed out all her food and the saliva food flew to Adriana’s place.

“It is me. I cooked the mashrooms”, before the maid continue her words, I cut her of and said it.

Yes, it is indeed me. I cooked it, and I am sure that, it must taste good.

It is not like I am showing of myself, but I joined in a culinary class since I was kid, because I used to have a dream of being a chef. I am unlucky, I don’t have that much money and I don’t have anyone who will support me, so I just gave up.

“Yuck, what mashroom are they. They are too salty and does not taste good at all. If you don’t know how to cook, then why are you cooking and destroying our meal”, Mia spat out every hurtful words.

“Mia, maybe you have eat the salted egg first. That’s why you feel like it is so salty like that. Actually, it taste good. try them again”, Jason encourage Mia to take another bite, but she still refuses.

“Oh dad, now when your sweet pie came here, you started to give all of your attention to her. I said that the mashrooms are salty, but you think that I am lying and choose to believe her. Whatever dad, after she entered into our family, you will eat anything. Even she cook poison for you, you will eat it”, Mia got angry and went to her room back.

“Jason, yes. It is really salty. Just no only I just tried and it is real. Why are you acting weird after you daughter return back. I am truly dissappointed on how you treating Mia now”, Claudia spat out her food and went to her daughter Mia’s room.

Adriana and Jason looked at each and another.

Tears swelled up in her eyes, but she still said, “dad, it is okay. Maybe it is my fault. If you don’t mind can you wait for a while. I will cook for you guys again. I am so sorry, it is my mistake”. Adriana went to the kitchen to cook another portion of food for her dad again.

“Rina, it is okay. Don’t think about anything. It is not salty and it taste really good. It is just that they might be in a bad mood. Please don’t put anything in your mind”, her dad wanted her to feel okay, but it is still hurtful.

On the first day she enter, there was a problem here. She better be careful in the future.

Adriana asked her dad to eat some fruits first, then she entered into the kitchen and started to cook a portion of food again.

Now she made Honey Lemon Chicken and some garlic bread with mashroom soup.

“Rina, I am not gonna lie. This foods are increaddebly taste good. I mean, it is for real. I really love them”, her dad Jason appericient her.

After her dad finish his food, he went back to his study.

Adriana brought the another two portion of food in her hands and knock on Mia’s room door.

As expected, her step mom Claudia opened the room door.

“You dissappointing bitch, why are you here?”, looking at Adriana, she could not hold up her anger.

“Well, I am so sorry just now. It was my mistake, so I just made some food for you guys. Please try them. I am sure that it will taste much better than that”, Adriana said sincerely.

She really wanted to make up for the trouble she cost. She knows that her stepmom and stepsister is lying, but she still have to maintain a good relationship with them to keep up in this house.

Even though it is not her own fault, she still need to ask sorry.

Anyways, she should not forget that she is just a guest here. It is their house, not hers.

“No thanks. You must put poison in this food to make me and my daughter die. Then, live in this house willingly”, Claudia.

Adriana didn’t argue anymore, she just left the food on the door way and smiled and went.

She went back to kitchen and asked the maids to eat first.

“No madam, we should not eat before everyone done eating. You eat first, then we will eat”, one of the maid replied.

Adriana sighed. She prepared a few plates and served the food to every each plates and set it on the dining table.

All of the maids were confused.

Is she going to eat all of them together like this, it is really weird.

Adriana could clearly listen to their mind voices. She couldn’t help but chuckled.

“Well, I know what you all thinking, but… Well, I hope you all clearly see what just happened. I really wanted to be in good term with them and wanted to make friends, but clearly they hate me. Actually, it is not their fault, because, of course it will take time to mingle with any stranger like this, so I only can make friends with you. I can’t just stay here and not talk with anyone right. So I really wanted to be nice and be friends with you. You all almost look like same age with me, so I guess, we can be friends. Maybe, if you don’t want to, it is okay. I don’t mind”, Adriana spoke the truth out.

“Madam, don’t be like that. Since you respect us, and talk to us, surely we will be friends with you. Don’t worry”, the maid words comforted her.

“But madam, we always sit in the kitchen and eat our food. So you eat here first, then we can talk”, she added.

“I told you that I am not special, let’s go and eat in the kitchen”, Adriana said.

All the maids refused but Adriana stubornly sat in the kitchen and ate with them.

One thing she didn’t noticed was, from far away a person is watching her.
