Chapter 77: Something Happened to Hannah
Chapter 77: Something Happened to Hannah
Just as Abby walked out of the practice room, Jane pounced on Quincy and hugged him tightly.
Jane sobbed at first, and then she couldn't help but cry sadly.
Jane felt extremely lonely when she was beaten by Jemma and the others just now. Now, in Quincy's
embrace, she felt warmth.
"Why did they insult my mom? I grew up with my mom. I know how hard her life is. She works in the
fields every day. When I got sick, she got up before dawn and went to the mountains to pick herbs for
me. She never tells me how tired she is. I don't care if they scold me or beat me. Why did they curse
my mom...?" Jane couldn't control her emotions when she thought of Jemma calling her mother a bitch.
Her voice became hoarse. She even stamped her feet and trembled with anger.
It looked like she would collapse at any moment.
"Okay, Jane, calm down. Calm down. Relax...." Seeing Jane behave like this, Quincy became even
more worried. He hated those people who hurt Jane. He gently patted Jane's back so that she could
calm down as soon as possible. If Jane continued like this, she might fall sick from anger.
"Don't worry. I will make everyone who hurts you pay the price....I will always be with you and protect
you from being hurt....Are you feeling better?" Because of Quincy's comfort, Jane finally calmed down.
"Who hit you? Tell me, I'll take revenge on them." Quincy gently wiped Jane's tears and asked gently.
There was a trace of ruthlessness in his eyes.
"Three of my teammates" Jane whispered. She was no longer as excited as before. "Forget it. If they
touch me again, you can take action."
Jane didn't want their relationship to turn sour. After all, they were a team.
"Jane, you...." Quincy only wanted to give those people a hard beating.
Jane looked at Quincy and said softly, "Listen to me. I will make things clear for them this time. If they
attack me again, I will ask you to beat them."
Quincy frowned as he looked at Jane. Although didn't want to say yes, he could only listen to Jane.
"Can you go to Nepenthe Guesthouse to see my mother with me?" Jane begged sincerely. Right now,
the one she wanted to see the most was her mother. Only when Jane saw her mother would she feel at
ease, even if she would just sit quietly beside her mother.
"Alright." Quincy felt sorry for Jane. He had a deeper understanding of Jane. Quincy pulled Jane up
and said, "At least wash up before going to see your mom."
Quincy smiled and lightly touched Jane's face. Jane smiled faintly.
Jane took a quick wash in the bathroom of the company and left it. Quincy held Jane's hand and
walked outside the company.
It was past 9 o'clock in the night, and the surrounding lights were bright. Pedestrians were in groups,
taking a walk under the trees on both sides of the road to enjoy the cool.
Just as Quincy and Jane walked down the stairs of Gem Music Inc building, Quincy's phone rang. It
was from Fred. Quincy frowned slightly, thinking that Fred was going to invite him to some banquet.
"Mr. Quincy." Fred's voice came from his phone, as if he was a little flustered. "There is something
wrong with Ms. Hannah. I've sent her to the People's Hospital of JM City. Do you want to come over
and see her?"
Hearing this, Quincy and Jane were stunned. Something wrong happened to Hannah? Jane had been
worried about her mother. Quincy's heart was in his mouth.
"What exactly happened?" Quincy asked in a deep voice. He turned on the speakerphone and placed
his phone between him and Jane.
"What happened to my mom?" Jane asked anxiously.
"Well, I asked someone to show Ms. Hannah around JM City. During the daytime, she was fine. But an
hour ago, when Ms. Hannah had dinner, she suddenly fainted in pain. Ms. Hannah was immediately
sent to the hospital, and now she is in the emergency room. The exact reason is not clear...." Fred said
in a panic.
After Jane heard Fred's statement, her legs almost went limp.
"Alright, tell the doctor that nothing wrong can happen to Hannah. Otherwise, they will be fired." Quincy
then hung up after he finished.
"Quincy, take me to the hospital. Hurry up." Jane excitedly patted Quincy. She was anxious and scared
right now. There was nothing else in her mind. She just wanted to go to the hospital to see her mother
quickly.
Jane had a deeper ominous premonition, and her entire body involuntarily trembled.
Quincy whispered in Jane's ear, "Don't be afraid. Trust me, Hannah will be fine." He hugged Jane and
quickly walked to the side of the road.
It was not easy to stop a taxi now. Quincy felt Jane tremble in his arms. He walked to the middle of the
road alone and forced a black Audi to stop.
"Do you want to die?" The owner of the Audi poked his head out of the window and angrily scolded
Quincy. Quincy smashed a stack of bills on the owner's face. Quincy’s injunction had been lifted a long
time ago. He drew the cash after he returned from Flowers Island.
Seeing that what smashed his face were banknotes, the owner immediately replaced his angry look
with a smiling one. These notes were worth more than 10,000, and his eyes lit up.
"Don't be struck dumb. Come here!" Only then did the owner hear that the young man who "smashed
money" at him was shouting at him. The owner hurriedly drove over.
Quincy opened the back door and got in with Jane in his arms. He told the owner to take them to the
People's Hospital as soon as possible.
Quincy held Jane in the back and comforted her softly, "Don't be afraid. Hannah will be fine. Trust
me...."
The car came to a sudden halt as it drove.
"Keep going!" Quincy shouted angrily at the driver. He only wanted Jane to see her mother quickly.
"Sir, I want to move forward, but I can't. Our path is blocked," The driver turned around with a bitter face RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

Quincy looked through the windshield and saw that there were more than ten young men in front of
him. He didn't know what they were doing.
Quincy rolled down the car window and shouted at the group of youths. "Get out of the way!"
The youths in front of Quincy were all called over by Donald Cusack, a man born with a silver spoon.
Donald was now telling a girl how much he loved her. As Quincy shouted at him, Donald felt so
humiliated.
Donald shouted loudly, "Scram you. Stop shouting, or I will beat you."
"Turn around. You cannot take this path!"
"Scram! Donald is confessing his love today! Get out of his way!"
A tall young man walked towards Quincy aggressively and spat out dirty words. "Damn it. Turn around.
Or do you want me to give you a beating...."
The driver was frightened and was about to turn around.
"Don't move!" Quincy shouted.
"There's another way over there. We can take that path. He's coming. If we don't move, he will beat us
up," the driver said in fear.
"Listen to me and don't move." After saying that, Quincy opened the car door. The young man walked
up to Quincy and threw him a punch.
Before the punch landed, Quincy grabbed the young man's hair and pressed his head down hard.
Meanwhile, Quincy lifted his right leg and hit that man's head with a big sound. The young man
instantly felt dizzy. Quincy grabbed his head and punched him fiercely again, leaving the young man
falling to the ground.
Quincy defeated the young man. Firstly, that man was anxious. Secondly, he underestimated Quincy,
which was why he was beaten by Quincy.
The driver was about to leave Quincy and run away, but he didn't expect Quincy to knock the young
man over in a few seconds. The driver was dumbfounded.
Suddenly, he heard even louder curses. He saw that the ten or so youths in front of him were rushing
towards Quincy.
Donald asked the others to teach Quincy a lesson. He stayed in front of the girl and kept pestering her.
The driver panicked, subconsciously feeling that he was going to be beaten up.
The first thing he thought of was running away. Just as he was about to turn around with the steering
wheel, Quincy cursed, "Damn it!" He walked up to the driver's seat angrily, opened the car door, and
pulled the driver down after he said, "Get off."
"Hey, what are you doing?" The driver was shocked and looked innocent.
"Get in the car!" Quincy slammed the car door shut and sat in the driver's seat. He looked at the dozen
or so youths rushing over and shouted loudly at the driver. The driver quickly sat on the passenger
seat.
Through the rearview mirror, Quincy glanced at the sad Jane and shot his gaze at the young man
rushing forward. Since they wanted to block Quincy's way, they should not blame Quincy for being
impolite.
Quincy slowly accelerated the car and it rushed forward.
"Hey, what are you doing? You'll kill them!" The driver said to Quincy uneasily.
"Shut up!" Quincy roared fiercely.
Seeing Quincy's car rushing over, the youths blocking the way were shocked.
"Don't be afraid! He definitely won't dare to hit us. Follow me and surround him!" one of the young men
said.
The others didn't believe that Quincy would dare to run into them. After all, more than ten people were
ahead of him! It wasn't a small matter to bump into them
They still came toward Quincy.
Quincy's car was moving faster and faster, showing no sign of slowing down!
Tires rubbed against the ground, letting out a loud noise. It was as if a ferocious beast was charging
towards the group of young men.
Only then did the youths realize that Quincy was not joking with them and ran away.
Quincy knocked over a few young men. They screamed and rolled to the side.
Donald was still trying to persuade the girl to accept him when Quincy's car crashed into him.
Donald was so frightened that he fled in a sorry state, but he was still hit by Quincy's car. He rolled into
a green belt on the side.
The girl was right beside Donald. When the car crashed into her, she was stupefied. She covered her
ears, closed her eyes, and screamed loudly. She didn't dare to open her eyes until Quincy's car
whistled away after a few seconds.
Looking at the taillights of Quincy's car, the girl remembered the moment Quincy rushed over. She saw
Quincy's face. Her eyes shone brightly and she whispered, "He is so handsome...."
