Chapter 896 A Discussion (Part One)

"Alright, sure. Anyway, I also have a lot things to tell you," said Mike.

"For the meantime, don't tell my Uncles yet that I'm back," Lawrence then said in a worried tone. "I

don't think I'll have time to visit them at this moment."

"I guess they already knew about it. We both know that they are quite close to your father. Don't you

think your parents will tell them that you're back?" replied Mike. He thought that Lawrence's worries

were all for naught. Then he continued, "But don't worry, they won't think you're rude even if you don't

visit them. Remember, you are family. And family doesn't really have to care about the etiquette."

Lawrence thought for a moment and realized that Mike was right. A family didn't have to care about the

etiquette.

"Lawrence, I'm just wondering. What are you going to do with Greg?" Mike suddenly asked. He was still

worried about Greg.

"Let's talk about that when you come to my home this evening," Lawrence replied helplessly. He

suddenly felt somewhat distressed. He just came back home but he already had a lot of things to do

and to think about. He was in a predicament now and he didn't know what to do first. Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.

"Alright, I'll see you in the evening," agreed Mike.

When Lawrence arrived at home, Lily and Bill were already waiting for him in the yard.

Lawrence got out of the car and glided to the passenger seat. He picked Aria up who was still in a

coma. Then he walked towards the villa with her in his arms.

When they saw Lawrence carrying a woman who seemed to be unconscious and whose clothes were

worn out, Lily and Bill couldn't help but exchange wondering glances. They didn't have any idea what

was going on.

"Bill, where is the doctor?" Lawrence approached Bill immediately when he was near them. "The doctor

has just called me to say that he's already on his way. He'll be here soon," Bill replied at once.

Lawrence walked to the villa after giving Bill a nod.

As they watched Lawrence walked inside, Lily and Bill started to talk in a low voice.

"Maybe that woman is Mr. Lawrence's girlfriend," Bill guessed uncertainly. "I think you're right," Lily also

agreed.

As far as she could remember, Lawrence never had an intimate relationship with other women except

Violet and Alice. But now, Lawrence came home with a woman in his arms. This woman must be

special to him.

"Well, you better go in now and look for some clothes that the lady can wear. It looks like her clothes

are dirty," urged Bill. "I'll go to the door and see if the doctor has arrived," he added then headed for the

door.

Lawrence went directly to his bedroom and put Aria on his bed carefully. He tucked her in and made

sure that she was lying comfortably. He felt upset as he looked at her face.

All of a sudden, a knock on the door awakened Lawrence's thoughts. He turned around to open it.

"Mr. Lawrence, I brought some clothes for the lady," Lily immediately said as soon as the door opened.

She walked inside and put the clothes on the bed. Then she stood aside while still staring at the

woman.

"Thank you so much, Lily," Lawrence replied politely. He was somehow touched by Lily's

thoughtfulness. Changing Aria's clothes hadn't occurred to him yet but Lily had already prepared

clothes for her.

"It's all right. It's my pleasure to be of help, Mr. Lawrence," Lily replied with a smile. She glanced at

Lawrence and found out that his eyes were still fixated at the woman on his bed and his eyes showed

an indescribable sadness.

"Mr. Lawrence, she..." Lily couldn't help but voice out what was in her mind. She was somewhat

confused and she was worried about Lawrence as well. Actually, she worried about everything about

Lawrence. She was always afraid that he would be hurt by others.

"Her name is Aria. She is my girlfriend," replied Lawrence without hesitation before Lily could even

finish her question. He didn't need to hide anything from Lily anyway.

"Oh, I see," Lily answered with a nod. It would be inappropriate for her to ask more questions. Knowing

the woman's identity was already enough for her. It seemed that something bad had happened to Aria.

She had a lot of injuries and she was still in a coma.

"Well, Mr. Lawrence, I'll go out for now. I will make some chicken soup so Miss Aria can have some

when she wakes up. It will be good for her health," Lily said. "Just call me if you need anything," she

added.

Lawrence looked at Lily and nodded. He was moved when he stared at her sympathetic eyes.

Before Lily left the room, she held Lawrence's arm and tried to comfort him, "It's all right, Mr. Lawrence.

She'll be fine. Don't worry."

"Yes, I know," Lawrence gently replied with a nod.

He felt warm in his heart as he watched Lily walked out of the room. Lily had always been kind to him

and it made him feel the warmth of home even though his parents were far away from him.

As soon as Lily went out of the room, Bill came with the doctor behind him. "Mr. Lawrence, the doctor is

here," he said after knocking.

When he heard Bill's voice, Lawrence hurriedly walked towards the door.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Lawrence," the doctor greeted him with respect. It was his first time to be invited

in the Chu Family villa and he felt a little nervous when he finally came face to face with the young

master.

"Go check on her bruises and make sure that she recovers quickly," Lawrence directly ordered the

doctor.

"Alright, I'll go and see the patient now," the doctor replied. Then he walked inside the room and closed

the door.

When the door closed, Lawrence walked downstairs. He decided to wait in the living room.

"Mr. Lawrence, a man from the Yu Family came over and took Mr. Mike's car. I have already cleaned

up your car so you can use it anytime you want. It's in the garage," Bill reported. He was standing next

to Lawrence.

"Okay, thank you," Lawrence replied. Without the usual intrusion and coldness in his eyes, he looked at

Bill and said to him in a calm tone, "Bill, Aria will live in this villa from now on. I hope you can drive for

her wherever she wants to go in the future."

"Sure, Mr. Lawrence. That won't be a problem," Bill replied instantly. "Miss Aria can tell me where she

wants to go and I'll drive for her anytime." Lily had already told him about Lawrence's relationship with

the lady so he couldn't find any reason to refuse Lawrence's request.

"Well, that's good. Thank you. You can go and do your own thing now," Lawrence said. He then turned

his back on Bill and looked out of the window. He couldn't help but furrow his brows when he thought

about Aria. He was very much worried about her.

Ten minutes later, the doctor came downstairs and walked towards Lawrence. He stood next to

Lawrence and reported, "Mr. Lawrence, the lady just suffered a few bruises. Luckily, there was nothing

serious like bone fractures. I'll just prescribe some anti-inflammatory and ointment for her. She'll

recover quickly if she applies those medicines on time."

"Anything else?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He didn't think Aria could just be cured so easily.

"The lady is weak and she needs nutrition so you need to pay attention to her diet. In addition, her

emotions switch violently. It seems that she was harassed too much recently. She needs to stabilize

her mood and it will take you some time and energy to help her with it," the doctor replied while looking

directly at Lawrence's eyes.

"I see. Thank you," Lawrence said with a nod then gave the doctor a check for his fee.
