I Refuse to Divorce

Chapter 106

Chapter 106

Zoe said softly, “That’s not it.” Then, she averted her gaze and spoke even more quietly, “I’m having my period.”

Mason was a little startled.

Then, he came back to his senses and couldn’t help but touch her warm cheeks. Zoe never wore makeup when she was at home. He was touching her bare skin and it was irresistible.

Staring at her, he could not help but laugh. “Am I that much of a monster in your eyes, Zoe? Do you think I’ll force myself on you when you’re on your period?”

Her eyes were slightly wet with tears, but she didn’t answer him.

He got his answer from her reaction. She probably thought he cared only about pleasuring himself, even if it was at the cost of his wife’s well-being. And she would’ve been right.

He had never cared about her in the past and he liked to do it rough, but he had never done it with her when she was having her period.

Grabbing her slender arm, he pulled her up and let her sit on his lap. Zoe wasn’t used to this kind of intimacy. They had never been this close before. He had only ever held her when they were having sex, and he’d never allowed her to sit on his lap.

Noticing her tear-stained eyes, he caressed her gently and asked her tenderly, “Was I too rough the last time we did it?”

That question embarrassed her.

It had been a few days since they did it in the bathroom, but the way he had forced himself on her, the humiliating positions they were in, and the insults he lobbed at her still gave her chills and madeText © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

her shiver.

She kept convincing herself that it didn’t matter, but they were a couple and that meant there was no avoiding sex. Mason’s tendency to have rough sex scared her. They might have been married for several years now, but he had never gone all out with her in sex.

Zoe decided she wouldn’t answer him.

He surmised he must’ve traumatized her for real last time. He looked at her hands and found that she was still holding the box of condoms. Taking it from her, he tossed it aside. She looked at him in a daze, unsure of his intention.

Lowering his head, he kissed her tenderly. He even took her hand and guided it into his shirt to touch his skin. It was warm and smooth as silk. It felt really good to her touch.

Zoe had been married to him for several years and they had done it countless times, but she had never touched him this intimately. She let him guide her hands.

Holding her slim arms, he kissed them and let her feel him. Zoe had never experienced something like this before and the same could be said for him too. There was a subtle tingling all over his body that made him shiver slightly.

Mason felt something stir in his heart. He held her softly when he was finished kissing her and rested his chin on her head. He said huskily, “How many days until your period is over?”

Zoe’s face flushed in embarrassment. She wasn’t exactly used to having these sort of conversations. She said in a trembling voice, “Two more days.”

He chuckled lightly and leaned back on the couch comfortably. Not giving a damn about his unbuttoned shirt, he pulled her down to join him.

“So it still takes six days in total?”

She was still young, and her periods were still regular. Mason usually couldn’t have sex with her for six days every month. Sometimes, it felt like torture to hold it in for that long.

Zoe responded, “Yeah.”

She laid down on his chest as her mind wandered. He wasn’t acting like himself. Had he broken up with one of his side chicks?

Her mind wandered further. Was he this gentle when he was them?

They were both lost in thought.
