I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 322

Chapter 322 You'd Better Quit

Benjamin sneered faintly. His words revealed a deterrent reminder and formidable warning.

Frank's heart skipped a beat. He tried to say something more, but Harper interrupted again, "Have you said enough? If so, get out!"

She was excited, indifferent, and dissatisfied.

Presumably afraid of being ignored again, she picked up the folder on her desk and smashed it with a bang.

The office suddenly became quiet.

Benjamin, Frank, and Harper looked at each other. Harper said coldly, "Do you have anything else to say? If not, you may take your leave. I have to work." Frowning and staring at Harper, Frank hesitated to speak yet ultimately said nothing.

He walked towards the door and locked eyes with Benjamin, who was standing there. Neither of them gave in. Frank averted his gaze away first.

He returned to his office. Only Harper and Benjamin were left here.

She lowered her eyes and didn't glance at Benjamin. Fixing her gaze on the drawing, she became absent-minded.

With a sullen face, Benjamin entered the office and stood directly in front of the desk. Looking down at Harper, he said, "You have deliberately avoided me these days because Frank expressed his feelings to you, so you want to keep a distance from me, right?" She raised her head. "If that's who I am in your eyes, you won't believe anything I say, so take it as such!"

"What do you mean?"

Benjamin squinted furiously.

Harper asked, "So, how do you want me to answer?"

"It's not how I want you to answer. I just want the truth."

Harper fell silent.

Benjamin asked deeply, "Harper, what's wrong with you?"

He thought about it carefully and found that there had been no conflicts or disputes in recent days. They got along with each other because of the Mitchell family's affairs.

Harper lowered her eyes. It was impossible for her now to ask Benjamin directly about his relationship with Lauren now. So, she replied, "Nothing."

"How could it be nothing?"

"I'm simply swamped with preparations for the competition. My entire focus needs to be on it. I hope you can understand." Benjamin snorted, "Harper, you've completely changed because of a competition. Do you think I'll believe you?" "There is nothing I can do if you don't believe me."Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.

Benjamin was very cold and indifferent.

Tension thickened in the air. Benjamin and Harper were obstinate, unwilling to yield an inch.

After they calmed down for nearly half a minute, Benjamin narrowed his eyes and said, "If a competition affects your mood, there is no need to participate in it. You'd better quit before it starts!"

Argel

Harper looked at him in disbelief. "Benjamin, what do you mean? Are you asking me to withdraw from the architectural design competition?"
