I Once Married You (Harper and Benjamin)

Chapter 230

Chapter 230 For Your Friend Annie

Harper snapped out of it and looked at him. She realized that Benjamin was asking her, and then she responded, "Do you have any suggestions for the design draft?"

"I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know if I'm satisfied or not."

"So, are you going to look at it now or wait a while?"

Benjamin looked at her. Her features were delicate, and her slightly furrowing brows showed her impatience. He asked, "Harper, are you impatient now?"

"No." She lowered her gaze to the sketch in her hand. She was indeed feeling a bit down and upset. The dishes on the table might have been delicious for her on a normal day, but now, these dishes did not arouse her appetite at all.

They locked eyes, and Harper couldn't hold it any longer, then stood up and said, "I'm going to the bathroom."

She left the private room without waiting for Benjamin's permission.

She took a deep breath and walked towards the restroom, gradually relaxing.

Her phone in her pocket rang at that moment.

It was an unfamiliar number.

She answered the call, and before she could say anything, she heard Lauren urgently questioning, "Harper, you're such a coward. Isn't Benjamin your husband? How could you let him get so close to other women?"

Harper frowned and asked coldly, "By what authority do you question me?"

"Harper, are you trying to tell me that you are his wife? But does he treat you as his wife? Since you can't control him, you should leave him as soon as possible."

"To fulfill your wish? I am okay with it, but you have to get him to agree to marry you, right?"

"Don't get cocky. You still have to endure him being intimate with other women!"

"Lauren, don't you feel ashamed saying so? He would rather be with other women, instead of you. Don't you know the reason?"

Lauren was unable to argue.

Harper didn't want to waste any more time, so she hung up the call immediately after speaking. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.

It had been ten minutes since she left the seat. She hesitated for a moment but still walked back to the room.

Harper went in and found that the two who should have been eating were missing. She turned around and only saw Benjamin kick the door shut, then he walked towards her with a gloomy face.

He looked at her coldly and said in a harsh tone, "Where have you been? Are you planning to leave?"

"If I didn't want to come back, why would I still be standing here?"

"Harper, is this the attitude you have when you talk to me now?" "Benjamin, I don't understand what you mean."

He suddenly reached out and lifted her chin, squinting his eyes like a tiger, and said with a fierce smile, "You always seem to not care about anything. You look down on
