CELLPHONE
When Zachary entered the laundry room, his jaw clenched, and he noticed Samarra smiling while holding the cellphone.
“Ara, if you just smile and text someone, could you turn on the washing machine first?” Zachary growled, dropping the laundry basket in front of Samarra.
“Can you please stop texting, Ara?”
Zachary snatched Samarra’s cellphone and threw it to the ground angrily.
“Oh, my!” While looking at her cellphone on the floor, Samarra described how her phone fell on the floor in slow motion.
“What’s the matter with you? Why do you have to get rid of my cellphone-”
When Samarra noticed Zachary’s brow furrowed alone as he waved at her, she was too stunned to speak. She had no idea what had riled him up again.
“What? Do you enjoy conversing with others? When you smile while holding your cellphone, you appear single. Ara, maybe you forgot we’re married? And I’d like you to come here first to start the washing machine, but what? Are you texting your friend? What is his name?”
Samarra isn’t sure whether to laugh at Zachary’s question or become annoyed by what he thinks while holding the cellphone. She took a deep breath before looking Zachary in the eyes.
“So that you know, I don’t text anyone. And I’ll never forget how I’m already married. “How did you get the idea that I was flirting with someone?” Samarra’s tongue twitched, and she quickly turned her back on Zachary as she picked up the cellphone, her gaze following her.
“Look at this, and it’s broken.” Samarra showed Zachary the broken cellphone.
“What can I do with this? You see, dirty thinking in your head ruined the cellphone. Do you know why I’m holding the cellphone?” Samarra stared at him as if she couldn’t say anything about his actions.
“I’m holding the cellphone because I’m watching CHUM’S show me how to turn on the washing machine because my first time is doing laundry, hopefully.” Samarra paused before continuing to speak.
“However, I have no plans to do laundry because of what you did.” She turned away from Zachary, who was staring at her blankly.
Samarra’s gaze followed Zachary out of the laundry room, and he was blown into the air. Shaken while looking at the laundry in the laundry basket. He had no idea what to do. Zachary sighed and put the last thought first, and maybe Samarra would be even angrier with him if he didn’t do the laundry.
As soon as Samarra walked in, she dropped the cellphone she was holding on the bed. She entered, one hand fanning her face and the other resting on her waist. She had no idea what to do with Zachary. She was always thinking negatively about herself.
Samarra, take a deep breath. She reasoned that allowing him to do the laundry downstairs; would irritate you.
A part of her mind agrees that she should sleep instead of helping him. Samarra threw the body on the bed and went to sleep.
After finishing his laundry and putting away the mess they had eaten earlier, Zachary tidied up the living room. He was trembling as he carried the chaos back to the kitchen.
Maybe Samarra is directing her rage at him to avoid doing laundry. What a brilliant idea! Zachary shook his head as he emptied the trash can.
Zachary immediately washed his hands and returned to the laundry room to dry his and Samarra’s clothes and uniforms. Zachary scratched his neck, still thinking about ironing Samarra’s clothes. He has never been able to iron in his life, but he can now do all kinds of housework.
He was exhausted when Zachary finished ironing his and Samarra’s uniforms and clothes. He didn’t know how he ended it all, but he could only say one thing. ‘ Don’t make Samarra angry when they plan to do household chores because he will ensure he is the only one acting alone.
As Zachary separates his and Samarra’s clothes, he can’t help but frown when he realizes Samarra has more clothes than him.
Tss… is her determination to be angry at me even though she owns most of the clothing in this room. When someone sniffed at Zachary’s back, he turned around. He could see her raise an eyebrow as Samarra folded her arms.
“Why are you holding my underwear?”
“You are stunning, but you appear to be deafeningly deafening. As you can see, I’m folding it.” Zachary is philosophizing while still waving the red underwear at Samarra.
“Could you please stop doing that? I’ll take care of my clothes. Can you cook something for us?”
Zachary’s brow arched in response to what Samarra said. What the hell? He still needs to prepare their food. Is he the one doing the laundry? Zachary took a deep breath and tried to relax because he didn’t want to fight Samarra any longer.
“How can we cook without stock?”
“Perhaps you should place another order.”
Zachary sighed and was prevented from becoming angry with Samarra again because it was obvious that he would be the one to order again.
“Do you see how busy I am, my love? You can order for us in addition to knowing how to use the Express Foods App.”
“Aww, I wanted to do that, but? Remember when you broke my phone?” Zachary, stunned, just looked at Samarra and crossed between them.
“I’m sorry, I was jealous.”
Samarra was taken aback by Zachary’s sudden embrace and opened her mouth to pity what he said. She couldn’t believe it and admitted she was jealous.
“Y-you… what?”
“I’m …” Zachary looked him in the eyes to confirm what he was saying.
“I’m fucking jealous, and I have no idea why. And I don’t want to share you with anyone.”
“What?”
Zachary’s smile faded when he noticed Samarra’s expression; she couldn’t believe what he said. Even Zachary could not believe he had admitted it. His parents raised him to be content and not envious of others. But earlier, when he saw Samarra smiling while holding the cellphone, he couldn’t control his emotions.
Damn! He’s envious.
“‘Don’t repeat what you heard.” Zachary’s teasing had inflated Samarra’s face.
“Can you stop doing that?”
“What am I doing?”
Zachary couldn’t help but kiss Samarra and press their foreheads together.
“Pouting your lips.”
“Why?”
“Because if you do that. I’m going to kiss you again and again.”
“Tsk, what a lame excuse.”Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Zachary laughed as he kissed Samarra on the lips. Samarra was unaware that her lips were enticing.
“Just do what I say, hmm.”
Samarra nodded to end her conversation with Zachary.
