diverted his thought.

Devon looked at her.

The whole night Sheri and Devon sleep in the bed.

Morning arrived Sheri's head is painful. She slowly wakes up and recalls everything that Devon said.

She sits down and starts to massage her forehead. Devon came with a tray of food and medicine.

Sheri was looking at him the whole time.

"Why is that I didn't see that he looked like Du Wen."Sheri thought to her self.

Devon gently put down the food and hand over to her a pill.

"It's for your headache. You sleep very long." Devon gently said.

Sheri looked at him and after a minute she takes the medicine and drinks it in one go.

"Eat also, so that the medicine will be more effective." Devon further said and put the tray in front of

her.

Sheri didn't shy away instead she started to eat. She stops when she tasted the soup. The memory of

Hunter soup flashes into her. When She grabs the bread. The taste of the bread she likes when she

was in hospital in her own world is the same tastes the bread she's eating. She pauses and looked at

Devon.

"Didn't you like what I made, I can make another?" Devon was nervous when he saw her stop eating

and look at him.

Sheri shakes her head and started to eat again.

Sheri and Devon were silent the whole time. Sheri didn't want to talk to him.

Two days passed by. Sheri and Devon didn't talk. Every time Devon arrived at her room Sheri is gazing

outside the window. Sheri was figuring out everything on her own. It gradually sinks into what

happened. She doesn't know what to feel and how to feel. Everything, for her, is hard.

Here is a man who made away for her to be reborn into Sheri and was able to recognize her and keeps

following her and due to the misunderstanding, they have missed the opportunity to be together.

This was supposed to be her punishment world but it turns out to be complex. Sheri was looking at

Devon who is silently putting down the food tray. The whole two days Devon was patient he didn't force

Sheri and neither asked her. He was always there providing everything she needed.

"I want to go out." Out of nowhere, Sheri spoke.

Devon stops for a second what he was doing and put down the tray his holding.

"Alright," Devon said.

Sheri was silent again and turns her eyes outside of the window.

"But I will be coming if you don't want me to come. My offer is still available, and it will never

expire."Devon gently said and opens the drawer of the bed. There lay the gun.

Sheri closes her eyes.

She walked toward where the gun lies and grabs the gun. She readies and points the gun toward

Devon.

Devon didn't budge when he saw that she is pointing the gun toward him. Instead, he walked toward

her and holds her hand and places the gun in his heart.

He looked at her. She looked at him. He caressed her face.

"I love you and if this will satisfy you. I wholeheartedly surrender my life for you."

Devon doesn't want that Sheri will soil her hand so he will shoot himself for her while clasping her

hand.

Devon was supposed to press the trigger when Sheri pressed the magazine release button. The

Sheri put down the gun and drop it on the floor and return to look outside the big window.

One thing Sheri knows for sure. Mistakes after a misunderstanding have happened between them she

does not want to make another mistake. Two lifetimes she was hurt but she wanted to think it through.

If he wants to follow so to be it. Sheri doesn't actually don't know what to do.

Devon look at the back of Sheri. He was absolutely ready to shoot himself, but she stops at the last

While sitting, Devon also sits next to her. Both were quiet. Sheri didn't mind the silence nor his

presence. She just wanted to think and think.

Sheri looked at Devon and asked,

"Why did you think that I was Janice in the last lifetime?"

Devon looked at her with gentleness in his eyes. That was the looked he always sees in her past life.

"Sheri was thinking. She missed something, didn't she?

Drops of tears fall at Sheri's eyes. Even though she forgives. There are things she remembers vividly.

Devon kneels in front of Sheri and lays his head on her knees. Sheri doesn't know what to do. She felt

that Devon was also crying.

She was hesitating to touch his hair. Instead, she wipes her eyes first and was supposed to touch him,

but she was hesitating.

"I.. I don't know yet what I want. I am in pain right now, and I can't decide." Sheri honestly said.

Devon is still kneeling and starting to punch his head. Sheri holds his hands.

Devon and Sheri sit in the garden for how many hours.

Sheri didn't speak and just look at the setting sun.

"Would you this time reconsider us again?" Devon was nervous when he asked that question it took

him a lot of courage to ask her. He knows he doesn't deserve her but he is so in love with her that if

ever she will say no. Then it is better to vanish completely.

Sheri looked at him. He was still the man she falls in love with over and over. No matter how much she
