"You can't do that. Transfer the case to someone else," Zachary said with a frown.

"Why should I?" Tessa chuckled.

Zachary's eyes flared with fury. Through gritted teeth, he spat, "My family has already gone bankrupt, yet you're still pushing for my parents to get a divorce. Will you only be satisfied when my whole family falls apart?"

"You've got it wrong. I'm not pushing for your parents to get a divorce. Your mom wants a divorce, but your dad doesn't want it. The only reason I'm taking this case is to ensure that your parents do not get a divorce," Tessa retorted coldly.

Zachary froze. "What did you just say?"

"I've made myself clear enough."

Zachary looked at her suspiciously. "Are you lying to me? My mom says that you're the one pushing them to get a divorce."

Tessa sneered and brushed past him, heading straight into the apartment building. "I don't have time to waste arguing with you."

"Tessa, are you really fighting for them not to get a divorce?" Zachary shouted behind her.

She ignored him and entered the apartment building.

"Tessa, you can't let them get a divorce," Zachary said as he followed behind her. Tessa turned to look at him as if he were an idiot. "Don't worry. Since Yanis wants a divorce, I'll make sure that things don't go her way."

Hearing Tessa's words, Zachary could not help but feel that something was amiss. As they spoke, the elevator doors opened, so Wynn and Tessa stepped in. Zachary followed suit. "I'll go with you both. My dad's living alone now, so I want to check in on him."
