His Innocent Sera

Gift

He closed his eyes to enjoy the heaven unreeling beneath his lips without distraction. The book slipped from her hand, the little violet bloom silently hitting the floor. Lost in euphoria, Nate stepped on it, crushing the flower under his shoes as he kissed the daylight out of her.

His mouth was hot against hers, tongue dripping with urgency. He yanked her up by her waist, her toes barely grazing the cold floor. She felt the heat radiating from his body, searing her like an ember catching fire, consuming her inch by inch until she was writhing beneath his crushing weight. Her tormentor was built like a boulder- unyielding, immovable, his strength caging her in. It was impossible to escape him.

She was close to fainting but he didn't want to stop. He wanted to keep tasting her, to keep relishing those pink petals that belonged to him and lose himself in their intoxicating sweetness. The more he tasted her, the fiercer his craving became. Insatiable. Gifted with an IQ level of 180, he had solved several complex problems yet he was not able to understand the tender yet strong sensation she stirred within him merely with her presence. She was an open book yet a mystery he was yet to piece together. She, sometimes, made him feel like a fool who knew nothing about her. And sometimes he felt like he had known her since forever.

"Please," she mumbled against his hungry mouth, desperate for a breath of air. Instinctively, her nails dug into his throat, a silent plea for release. It only aroused him more, tempting him to go harder. But he, eventually, leaned away, putting her down on the floor. He granted her the gust of air that her lungs yearned for. However, his eye remained locked on her- dazed, burning with carnal desire.

She gasped and he watched her intently, fascination darkening his eyes. It was always a treat to see her recovering from the effect of his kiss. He knew he was rough on her, sometimes too much but it was all her fault. She makes him lose his control.

He placed his palm over her trembling chest, wanting to feel every breath she took. But the moment he touched her chest, her breath hitched. He lifted his gaze to her.

"Breath," his voice a low command, heavy with desire. He needed to feel it, the erotic rise and fall of her chest beneath his touch. Not a single detail he was going to spare about her. From her features to the way she breathed, he was going to memorise it all. He would know her in a way no one else ever could.

She dragged in a breath, her chest rising under his touch, and that insignificant movement just took his breath away. He felt a tingling sensation spreading through his palm, the knot of desire coiling tighter within him. He was tempted to do something beyond redemption, something that would bind her to him forever. Utterly captivated, inescapably damned was he.

"You called me," she voiced out her doubt. A devilish smirk crawled across his face as he relocked their gaze and reached out to play with her wild strand.

"I did," he admitted brazenly before reaching into his pocket and adding, "You were so obedient last night, I thought it was only fair to reward you for your good behaviour."

Her brows furrowed in confusion.

"Close your eyes," he instructed.

"Why?" she questioned. A subtle clench of his jaw let her know he wasn't pleased to hear the question.

"Do as I say," he asserted, his eyes boring into hers with quiet dominance. He hated it whenever she questioned her command. She should know better than to hesitate by now. Because he wouldn't hesitate to show her who is in charge here if he had to.

She exhaled in exasperation and closed her eyes. Her body was tensed, hinting at her unease.

She flinched as something cold slid across her collarbone. His soft hair brushed against her cheek as she felt him closing in. Her instincts told her to bolt but the fear of his wrath had immobilised her legs. A soft click echoed in the quiet air before she felt him moving away.

"Open your eyes now," he whispered. Her eyes flung open in an instant only to find him smiling down at her. There was something very chilly and unsettling about his smile. She didn't know how to explain it- his smile felt as cold as his eyes.

Her hand shot up to her neck to find something cold raped around it.

'What is it?' she asked, tracing her fingers over the piece. She had a suspicion. He had gotten her a slave collar or something. With the kind of mentality he had, it wouldn't be a surprise.

A playful glint sparked in his eyes as he asked, "You wanna see?" Then without breaking eye contact, he bent his knees, lowering himself to her level and said, "then see it in my eyes."

She saw her reflection in his eyes ice-kissed eyes, and noticed something sparkling right above her collarbone.

She turned away from him to check in the window glass. It was a pendant with a wing-like design in the center. Amid those wings nestled a white stone that could blind people with its shine. She couldn't hide the disgust that clouded her face as she tugged at the chain with mounting frustration, desperate to wrench it off.

"The fuck are you doing?" he stopped her by forefully removing her hand from the neckpiece. He scowled down at her as he added, "you'll break it."

"I don't want it," she retorted, her eyes rimmed red with anger. Her reaction confused him. He was giving her a gift way beyond her status. And instead of being ecstatic she was acting like a brat.noveldrama

"You didn't like it?" he asked. He'll have it exchanged if she didn't. She gave him a hateful look in response.

"You think a bird likes its cage? A captive like its shackles?" she demanded, pain etched through her features. She was a captive of his insanity and this expensive chain was nothing but a symbol of her helplessness. She wanted no gifts from him, she wanted absolutely nothing from him.

His gaze sharpened, finding her reaction over and unnecessary as she reached for the pendant again and unclasped it.

Without breaking their eye contact, she grasped his hand and shoved it into his palm.

"I want nothing from you," she told him.

Without uttering another word, she started walking towards the door when a sharp noise made her stop, mid-stride. She turned to find the neck-piece lying on the floor, broken. It's stone had rolled out, damaged by the force he used to hurl it.

She didn't glance his way and chose to keep walking towards the door.
