Brown Brown
“Okay, then.”he answered with a hardened look at Amelia.
“We have decided to do that long ago.”he added.
Amelia’s jaw dropped in shock.
Beatrice turned her head to him sharply.
She narrowed her gaze at him.
Loud noises erupted from the reporters.
“I believe I’ve answered all your queries. Good day to you all.”he bowed a little and entered the house with Beatrice.
As soon as he shuts the door, she attacked him,”What do you mean by what you just said out there?. You kidding??!”Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
Gregory rolled his eyes and started walking, heading towards the stairs.
She tailed behind him.
“Well, I need an answer, Mr Gregory Winslow.”
He halted in his steps and glanced back at her.
“You know that was all a show.”
“Oh, well, yeah?, tell me. A show that has consequences!”she yelled at him.
“Careful, or they will hear you.”
“I don’t care. I thought it was only just about acting as your girlfriend but now, marriage?!”
“We are going to break up anyway, af..”
“Please, shut it. You think this is a joke?. No, is it one to you?. You think it would be easy to break up after publicly announcing our marriage?”
He scratched the back of his neck and shrugged.
“Yes. Why did you think it would not be easy?. I’ve seen a couple breaking up with only days left to their marriage. So..”he scoffs.
“You’ve written a similar story too, author, so why so scared?. Or, do you really wanna get married to me, for real?”he teased.
“I’ll be damned to want that.”she frowned and raced the stairs up to her room.

At The Beach.
Jennifer stood in front of the sea, putting on a sunglass and a hat. She was donned in a sunny transparent gown.
Her skin glitters under the hot but scorching sun.
The water swept down to her feet and she stared sideways.
Some folks are behind her, taking unaware pictures of her.
Her personal assistant, Nicole, was sitting down under an umbrella while slurping quietly out of her cocktail drink with a yellow straw.
She scrolled down the news on the #Celebnews page.
She looked up at Jennifer and chuckled.
By the time these pictures get uploaded on the social medias, she will claim her first position in the stylish celebrity rank back.
She’d just lost it to Alyssa the previous week.
She glanced down at her phone, continuing the news.
She got to another one that was tagged #Hot.
Huh?
She looked down meticulously at the words.
What?!
She stood up and rushed to Jennifer.
“Cut! Cut!”she shouted to the men.
“What now?”one of them grumbled.
Jennifer turned to her with an angry stare.
“What is it this time, Nicole.”she sighed and scuttled towards the umbrella.
“We will take a twenty minutes break.”the cameraman announced.
She sat down and Nicole gave her a bottled water.
She collected it from her and gulped it down.
“This is big, Jennifer. This.. this is so.. so.. big but a shocking news.. I..”
“It appears you needed the water more than I did.”Jennifer rolled her eyes.
“Oh – oh, wait.. a minute..”she placed her lips on the straw in her drink and draw a sip in and sighed.
“You’ve got a problem.”she stood akimbo.
“Not we?”Jennifer removed the hat from her head.
“Your… your guy… Gregory is getting married to someone else.”she dropped the bombshell.
Jennifer paused and straightened her hair with her hand.
“What a joke.”she laughs softly, not wanting to believe that.
“I’m serious, Je..”
“That’s outrageous, Nic. I’ve had and I’m still going to have a very stressful day so stop messing around with such expensive joke.”
“He announced their wedding some minutes ago. Log into your Instagram account to check it out. The news is all over the place.”
“Okay.. this is not funny anymore. Hand over my phone.”she stretched her hand.
Nicole placed her phone on her palm.
She switched on her data and her phone buzzes with different news and messages coming in.
She scrolled down the news page.
“Oh, here, see.. here it is..”Nicole stopped her from scrolling further.
She squinted her eyes to be sure she isn’t reading wrongly.
She ate her lips in anger then gnashed her teeth.
“Who is this bitch?!.”she threw her phone down on the ground. Since it’s not a concrete floor but a sandy one, the phone didn’t break.
“Book me the nearest flight to Dallas.”

Tisha sat on the swivel chair in her office while watching the TV in front of her.
She carried her drink and drank from it, chewing the ice in exasperation.
Her blood was boiling up in rage.
She threw the glass across the wall and it broke and shattered to pieces.
“Damn these kids. That scornful girl just spoiled everything..”she stood up and scattered her hair.
If Gregory get married, the chances of him getting Henry’s properties willfully conferred to him would be high.
She chewed her lips in regret. She should have taken a step before Amelia does.
She can’t just sit idly by. She has to do something.
She must not allow this marriage to happen at all costs.

Amelia stomped into the house and yanked her bag away.
She held her head and screamed.
Brown who was all dressed in a brown suit, ready for work, descended the stairs down.
Well, he’d also watched the whole scenario so no need to ask her what was going on.
Amelia shot him an angry stare.
“I hate you!!! You’re just so useless!! Now you’re wearing brown again!!”
“Do well as not to vent your anger on me, Lia. You know very well before going out there so early in the morning. You’ve just spoiled your great weekend and I doubt your whole new week would be any better.”he uttered.
“Why don’t you seem bothered at all, Brown?!! This is our life going..”
“No, your life, Amelia. I see no reason you’re so hell bent on your father’s properties. It’s all your greed. Wake up, Lia, and live the best of your life in good health. You might get a high blood pressure at this point.”he taunted.
“My mistake for marrying a man called Brown Brown. You’re all shade of brown! You..”she paused and scoffed.
“I don’t have time for you today, Brown, cause obviously, as long as you’ve got brownies in your mouth, you have no worry anymore. I won’t let our son suffer.”
“Daughter!”
“Son!”
