Her Glamorous Beauty

I’m preparing your pit

Emerson fortunately grabbed Mario’s arm, still preventing himself from hurting the busybody and troublesome man, but then, because of being underestimated, which he really hates, he clutched his bone.

“Aaaaaaaa!” Mario screamed as an expression of pain appeared on his face.

“Don’t you ever try to hurt me again,” Emerson warned as he wiped the blood from his nose with his hand.

Thereafter, Emerson left Mario and went to the hedged part of the garden, probably to get ventilated. He didn’t know why there were a lot of people who could hurt others but couldn’t accept being hurt back.

A cold and light hand suddenly held his shoulder. When he looked back, he saw an angel with eyes that seemed to be saying something, but he hardly had to pronounce it in words.

“Why did you walk out of the mansion?” Rebecca asked.

Although there were a lot of things he wanted to say, such as apologize for what he did early in the morning, for being so rude to her parents, for staring at her white legs, etcetera, etcetera, Emerson remained silent.

“Don’t you want to say anything?” Rebecca broke the silence. “Okay.” She turned around and attempted to flee.

“No!” Emerson grabbed her hands, making her look back directly into his eyes.

“What?” Rebecca asked, surprised. “Will you apologize for letting me fall for that?” She hadn’t finished her question when, in a sudden movement, Emerson kissed her lips.

Rebecca’s eyes widened at his unexpected moves. There was something she couldn’t explain with the way his lips touched hers, and she stayed steady for a while as they both looked into each other’s eyes. Another moment passed, and Emerson gradually let go of her. Perhaps he just did that to hush her up.

“Um, I’m sorry, ma’am,” Emerson stammered with the fear of what Rebecca might do to him for being so rude. He knew in himself he didn’t mean to do that, but perhaps he was also prompted by his feelings.

Consequently, the situation changed to the contrary. Rebecca was the one who didn’t say anything or even think about anything. She didn’t know. What she only knew was that she also wanted that to happen.

“Just stop calling me ma’am,” Rebecca uttered at last.

“Okay, Miss Rebecca. But I want to apologize for what happened.” Emerson’s hands gestured in worry that she might not forgive him.

“Anyway, I told my parents that you’re such a hard-working man, so that they’ll hire you as the new head worker.” She tried to change the topic.

“O, thank you for your concern!” Emerson exclaimed. “But it seemed that you had just fanned the flame, because Mario Bombard was like a bomb going to explode right now; he was thinking that I had snatched his position.”

“Gosh! That never crossed my mind. Did you have a fight?”

“We had, honestly. See this black eye on my eyebrow? I’m not stupid enough to let that pass by without fighting back. I hope you’ll understand if I could break his arms and bones,” Emerson bragged.

“You did that?” Rebecca exclaimed, almost incredulously.

As her feet immediately brought her towards the dormitory, Emerson didn’t know what to do or how he should feel now that Rebecca seemed to be mad at him, although he just wanted her to be amazed at how he would fight back. He recently realized how bad it was to exaggerate something.Exclusive content © by Nô(v)el/Dr/ama.Org.

“But is there something between them for her to react like that?”

When Rebecca reached the dormitory, she found Mario holding his arm on the table. The expression of pain was obviously displayed on his face. Rebecca thought Emerson was telling the truth, but not the whole truth!

“Are you okay?” Rebecca asked while entering the room.

“Young lady?” Mario heard her worried voice. “What brings you here?”

Rebbecca pulled up the chair and sat down beside him. “I saw you holding your arm when I passed by. I think you need to visit the infirmary.”

Mario shook his head. “No need! It’s just a little fractured.” He tried to speak normally but couldn’t stop whimpering. “I’m just fine.”

“Are you sure? But why can’t you even pronounce your words well?”

“It slightly hurts, but I’m sure nobody can stop this from aching, even those nurses.” Mario took Rebecca’s hand and looked into her eyes. “I know you’re worried, but I’m telling you, everything will be fine now that you’re here.”

“Can you stop telling me that? My hair stands up for you.” Rebecca removed her hand from him and stood up as she stared at the door.

“Okay. Because you’re so hard to visit the clinic, I’ll leave you here, but don’t blame me that I didn’t tell you.” Rebbecca took some steps towards the door. “Please don’t work today and take some rest!”

Mario just nodded as Rebecca got out of the room and continued walking towards the mansion when she saw Emerson making another plot of land in the garden. She halted beside him, who appeared to be a hardworking man who enjoys making others nervous.

“Can you tell me what you’re going to plant here?” Rebecca asked.

“I’m not making a plot; I’m preparing your pit,” Emerson mumbled. As if he were being possessed by a demon, he shoved the sharp spade against the ground with his foot.

“What did you say?” She demanded.

He raised the spade towards Rebecca’s legs, abdomen, and breast with the thought that he had found the right time to complete his task, especially since no one was there, but when he looked up and saw her curious face and golden eyes, he lost the strength.

“Oh, Miss Rebecca, I didn’t know that was you!” Emerson ejaculated.

“I think so, because you seemed to use that spade on me,” Rebecca agreed.

Emerson lowered the spade and planted it on the ground. He then looked at her face while making the spade as a support. Her perfect face is as if she were a mannequin, and it’s difficult to remove his sight from it.

“Can you stop staring at me like that?” Rebecca pushes him.

“You’re so beautiful; why won’t you just be a model?” Emerson asked.

“Of course I know. But you can’t use that to make me forget what you’ve said. I would use this spade to stop you from making me so worried!” Rebecca took the spade, while Emerson had already distanced himself.

“You’re so easy to cheat!” Emerson starts running.

“Get ready if I catch you; I will surely break your bones!” Rebecca warned.

“Hep! You two stop playing here,” the old man reprimanded, as he was annoyed that the two were chasing around like children.

“Sorry, brother Damian, but Rebecca wants to break my legs!” Emerson reported, then came to a halt when he saw Elfedio going towards them with a glittering saw.

Rebecca noticed why Emerson stopped: her father looked like someone who could commit homicide with the sharp thing in his hand, but she knew how he would act, so she walked to meet him.

“What are you doing here, child?” Elfedio asked as he looked around.

“Sorry, Dad, but I want to help the workers,” Rebecca replied.

“Don’t be stubborn; I already told you not to work.” He took the spade from her hand. “Your mom will surely be mad if she sees you in that situation.”

“But Dad, I want to help. Please let me, even just for now,” Rebecca insisted as she wiped the sweat out of her face with her dirty hand.

“Okay, but don’t tire yourself; go home when the sun is up.” Elfedio sighed at seeing the embers on Rebecca’s face, which were mixing with her sweat, as if she had run around, but she really had.

Rebecca jumped and cheerfully turned around several times while her father went towards the new head worker. She stared right at them, especially at Emerson, who was pretending not to see her but secretly snickered to see her face.

“So, you already know what your work as a head worker is?” Elfedio asked Emerson. “Anyway, why didn’t I see Mario here?”
