Rita’s POV

“When will you be done with what you’re caught up with in Canada?” I literally stormed into his DM.

I remembered he had told me that he was caught up with something and that’s why can not travel down here soon.

“I am working here, you know” Zane replied.

“Which means we won’t meet forever unless you are ready to lose your Job?” I cross-interrogated, grumbling and furrowing my brows like could see me.

“What are you suddenly talking about Rita? I will come to the states during the winter holiday then return to Canada again and I might even take you along with me” He responded.

“Winter is about seven months away” I reminded him.

“Yeah, Love waits” He said.

“Zane, this isn’t about love. This is about us!!!”

“Talk to me. You seem to be bothered about something!” He sent then he switched to voice call.

“Like you said, when we finally meet; we will start preparing to get married immediately when we haven’t even enjoyed our dating stage” I sounded very perturbed.

“But we are enjoying ourselves” He answered innocently. He couldn’t pinpoint what I was tryna insinuate.

“What.. what about the practical aspect? Zane, i’ld love to go on a date with you, I want to have you around me! talking to you over the phone seems like you are not romantic enough. I wanna touch .. you; you know the lovey dovey stuffs, I wanna kiss you and .. and…” I confessed honestly but suddenly paused, realizing that he should be the to complain about stuffs like this not me.

“And you wanna spend the night with me” He completed my sentence which means he clearly understood my plight.

“Yea.. h, things like this matters in a serious relationship except you are cheating on me over there” I retorted.

“What?? Hell no. I can never cheat on you”

“I see” I slightly huffed; “Don’t you.. see me as a woman or you never just imagined naughty things to do to me?” I didn’t know how to tell him such, this is very unlike me; Evelyn already got into my head.

“Listen Rita, I can … wait for all that”

“Then I insist it is either you are cheating on me or you are a virgin momma boy!” I shunned. “How can a guy resist to stuff like this? You’re gay?” I irked him but he chuckled.

“Your picture, although decent and modest yet it reveals that you’re very s*xy, endowed with big handful b**bs and succulent as* . I must be very lucky to have you and it will be such a great memorable welcome night when we finally meet physically” He said.

I love how that sounds, somehow it made me feel a little better.

Awwn, the conversation isn’t boring now. We don’t have to talk about work all the time.

“Uhm Rita love, I have a presentation tomorrow morning which means I have to go now to prepare ahead” He informed me.

“No problem my love, I really can’t wait till weeekend, so we could have all time to ourselves” I told him.

“So take care darling, make sure you’re not bored else you will miss me so much” He said and I giggled.

“Bye” I disconnected the call.

My skin flushed and I had goosebumps when I remembered Zane’s nasty words especially the line ‘Memorable night when we eventually meet’ Oh My God! I really can not wait to finally feel like a woman.

I scrolled through the gist feed of FAP & GM and read other couples’ experience. I read 18+ lines and my eyes almost bulged out of its sockets. I should have seen nor read this, because I nearly imagined it. I had to swipe back to the chat icon else I’ll feel so wet and there is nothing to do about it.

“I am sorry about the things my girlfriend said to you today. She was only being childish” Adam had sent me a text.

“It is alright Adam” I replied, simply.

Just then, another message popped in from Evelyn.

“Rita. Are you still mad at me? I am so sorry” It read.

I won’t reply that. I’ll rather make her feel like I’m mad, till she is genuinely sorry and come to a realisation that I am way older than her. She ought to see me as big sister and from now on, she must never ever talk to me in such insolent manner.

I snubbed her message and watched it archived down to the list of all ignored messages, it was then I noticed Janet Johnson had sent a message sometimes ago and I must have mistakenly ignored it because I was charmed by Zane.

“Hello Mrs Janet Johnson” I sent.

“Oh see who finally replied me” She responded after few seconds.

“I’m sorry Mrs Janet Johnson; more than half of the day, I’m at work and I’m less busy only in the evening. You sent me this message during the day, so I didn’t notice it” I sent. Perfect! I found a perfect excuse .

“Okay great. Henceforth, I’ll take note and send you messages only during the night” She replied.

“Well, I was gonna invite you to a virtual video call meeting for only the ladies of FAP & GM group” She told me.

“Oh, what is it all about?” I inquired.

“Questions and answers regarding relationship. And we discussed about Love Languages” She said.

“Oops! I can’t believe I missed that” I remarked.

“Yup” She answered.

I suddenly remembered that I can share the issue on ground with her and hear whatever she has to say. She is the relationship doctor by the way.

“Can I ask you a question Mrs Janet Johnson?”

” You do not have to call my full name. Just call me Janet”

“Good. There you go; I am all ears” She said.

“As you already know, Zane and I would not be meeting face to face anytime soon. All we do throughout is chat and chat and chat. I know I signed up for this but is there a way I can spice up our relationship, somehow?” I summoned up the courage to asked.

“The Five Love Languages!” She said.

“What?” I sent and uttered the word at the same time.

“Your questions brings us back to the topic we discussed yesterday. Oops! I wish you were there” She sent and continued typing.

I impatiently waited to see what she was typing but it took a while.

And it read thus;

“There are five love languages; Quality time, Words of affirmation, Act of service, Gifts and Physical touch” “Quality time” “Try to always be available whenever he wants to talk to you and vice verse. Attention is very very important in a relationship. In the absence of quality attention, one could literally loose interest” “Word Of Affirmation”

While she was typing the explanation of word of affirmation I guess, I broke in.

“No, no” “That’s not what I am requesting for. Zane and I talk every blessed day; we understand eachother properly”

“Could you please rephase your question then?” She asked, like an AI, she replies so fast and automated.

” I meant how can we make our relationship a romantic one” “Like, spice it up” I repeated.”How can I feel his presence around me?” I sent several messages at once, hoping would understand me even if I was straight forward.

“Oh physical touch must be your love language” She finally got the point.

Is it? I want all the five love languages but physical touch happens to be my favorite.

“I think you are right Janet. Physical touch is all I have yearned for but it doesn’t look like I will be getting any of that soon”

“Physical touch makes guys go crazy. I do advise ladies that it is the best way to reconcile with your partner when you have a misunderstanding. Physical touch is definitely the way to a man’s heart not food” She briefly explained.

“Exactly! Men loves s*xy stuffs and s*x itself. What if this long distance relationship makes him think I am not good enough for him ” I inquired further.

“Oh! Are we talking about s*x here?” I can’t believe she asked, all this while.

“Do you mean my nudes?” I asked naively.

“Yes Rita! Guys loves hot and s*xy pictures of their partners. He will never ever get images like that out of his head. So therefore, he will think of you all day and this is also a form of bonding. Try this and thank me later” She concluded.
