Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 675

"Why did you go so hard on yourself?" Marion sighed.

He stood up, walking over to the kitchen to soak a towel in warm water.

Debra huffed, "It's because of you. What else was I supposed to do when you had a gun pointed at my head?" Marion came back, crouching beside her. He gently pressed the damp towel against the wound on her thigh. "My gun will never be aimed at you," he said in a hoarse voice.

Debra sensed his exhaustion, reaching out to cup his face. Only then did she notice the circles under his eyes.

His exhaustion was barely hidden, and no amount of bravado could disguise the toll the last few days had taken on him.

She knew Marion must have gone through hell trying to find her. He probably hadn't slept properly since she'd gone missing.

Feeling touched, she leaned forward and kissed him. At first, it was a quick, gentle kiss, but Marion deepened it, pulling her close as if afraid she might vanish again.

"Debra..." he whispered her name between kisses, his voice thick with longing.

A soft moan escaped Debra's lips, which tore away the last of Marion's control. He scooped her into his arms and carried her to the bed. Their bodies pressed together. Every kiss and every touch spoke of the time they had been apart. "Alright, the others are still outside waiting," Debra half-heartedly protested, but her words were lost on him.

Marion croaked, "They can wait. I haven't slept in days. Let's have a good rest tonight."

Debra knew better. Rest was the last thing on his mind.

Outside, Randy cleared his throat, making sure his voice carried through the walls.

"Well, everyone's had a long day. Marion has booked rooms for all of us. Go downstairs and grab your

With that, he led the others to leave.

Inside the room, Debra's cheeks flushed red. Marion locked his arms around her, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Now, you can't run away."

That night, Marion was insatiable, claiming her seven times before she was too exhausted to move.

By the time she drifted off to sleep, she felt the most rested she had in days.C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.

beside her. His breathing was steady, and his long lashes were fluttering.

It was the first time he had slept in. Clearly, the last few days had worn him out.

Debra reached out, tracing a finger from his nose down to his lips. Marion caught her hand, his voice teasing. "Want more?"

"Get up. Time for lunch," she said, hopping out of bed.

But before her feet could hit the ground, Marion was already up, sweeping her back into his arms.
