Chapter 251
Go Away, I’m A Billionairess Now By Evie Cole Chapter 251
Chapter 251 It’s Mrs. Humphrey’s Phone
On the way, Chaim kept a sullen face. He figured that the news online was put up by Jeff under Eric’s instructions.
Thinking of what Samara had said that day, Chaim felt as if someone had slapped him invisibly.
The green light in front of him lit up, and the sound of a horn came from behind. Chaim blinked, stepped on the accelerator, and drove forward.
Twenty minutes later, the car was parked at the Humphrey’s villa
The housekeeper was stunned when he saw Chaim, wondering why Chaim had come back at this time. “Mr. Humphrey?”
Chaim glanced at the housekeeper and entered the villa with a gloomy face. NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
At the same time, inside the villa, Eric was listening to Jeff briefing him about the reactions online. Seeing Chaim, Eric was also a little surprised. “Chaim, why are you back now?”
“Grandpa.
“Were you the one who was behind the news online?” asked Chaim coldly as he walked over to Eric.
Hearing his question, Eric pulled a long face as well. “Is that why you are back out of the blue?”
Chaim did not deny it. He said, “Samara and I will never get married again.”
“You won’t, or you don’t want to?”
Chaim did not answer Eric’s question. “I hope you won’t do such a thing again.”
Chaim thought, it’s just a divorce. It’s not like I can’t afford it.
After Chaim finished speaking, he turned around and left..
“You… Get your ass back here!”
Eric was so angry that he threw his walking stick at Chaim, but the latter still left without looking back.
Chaim was full of anger when he came, and when he left, nothing changed.
When the housekeeper saw Chaim come down, he wanted to greet Chaim. Yet at the sight of Chaim’s face, he didn’t dare to open his mouth.
Chaim went down from the second floor, engulfed in anger. Even when the servants in the garden who were watering the plants saw him, they all subconsciously went in with the hose. Everyone could tell that Chaim was in a bad mood, and none of
them wanted trouble.
Chaim was indeed in a bad mood. What had happened during this time was something he could never have imagined. When he divorced Samara, he was gloomy. Their divorce went on for more than eight months, and during this period, things between
them had become nasty.
And his feelings for Samara seemed to be different from before.
Sometimes, possessiveness could be a strange thing. At first, he felt nothing for Samara. However, ever since Roland started to
court Samara, Chaim found it hard to accept such a fact.
Chaim couldn’t explain why. He figured that it was perhaps because Samara had been married to him three years after all, and
no matter what, he regarded her as his wife.
Yet such a change in his feelings was not enough to change who he was. What Eric had done undoubtedly humiliated him
Chaim’s face was gloomy. When he walked to the car parked at the door, a nanny suddenly ran out and looked at him with trepidation. “Mr. Humphrey.”
His hands paused slightly and he turned to look at her. There was a trace of impatience in his eyes. “What?”
The nanny was shocked by the coldness in his eyes. She quickly placed the phone in her hand on the hood. “Mr. Humphrey, I found this when I was cleaning the potted plants left behind by Mrs. Humphrey a few days ago. I think it’s Mrs. Humphrey’s phone.”
After the nanny finished speaking, she turned around and left, not daring to look at Chaim at all.
