Gina, And Her Triplet Alphas

Chapter 27

Third-person narrative

Jasmine walked into the house, looking dejected and angry. She couldn’t believe that what Mia had told her a few days ago had come true right in front of her.

As she closed the door behind her, Mia and her brothers, who were seated in the living room, probably talking about something, turned to look at her.

Instead of speaking to them, she just walked past them and went straight up to her room.

The siblings looked among themselves, confused and wondering what was going on. Mia decided to follow Jasmine in to find out what was wrong.

She walked to Jasmine’s room and knocked a little before she opened the door. She stuck her head inside to see Jasmine lying in her bed, face down.

“Hey,” she said as she sat beside her. “Is something wrong?” she questioned with concern.

Jasmine muttered something with her head still buried in the covers, so Mia couldn’t hear.

“What the hell are you saying? I can’t hear you.” Mia frowned, confused.

Jasmine still didn’t raise her head; she just said whatever she was saying louder.

“Will you sit up and talk to me?” Mia scolded.

Jasmine sighed and raised her body from the bed, sitting up straight. She didn’t look Mia in the eye; she just looked down at her fingers that she was twisting around.

As Mia watched her, she could already guess what the problem was because there was nothing else that could make Jasmine act the way she did.

“Is it Noah?” She asked, and Jasmine’s head snapped up.

“How do you know?” Jasmine asked her, surprised, and Mia laughed.

“You’re making it obvious; Noah is the only one that can make you act like this,” Mia said, and Jasmine sighed.

“I don’t know what to do. I really should have listened to you. I feel so embarrassed coming back to act like this after you warned me just a few days ago.” she said.

Mia moved close to her and hugged her.

“It’s fine, Jasmine. I’m your best friend, and you know I would never lie to you. If I see something I think is bad for you, I’ll tell you right away.”

“I regret getting involved with him. Goddess, I feel so stupid,” Jasmine said as she hugged Mia back.

“Don’t beat yourself up about it. Stuff like this happens all the time, so don’t worry about it,” Mia encouraged. “The only thing you have to do now is forget about him and try to concentrate on other things.”

“Thank you, Mia. You’ve been so kind to me, no matter what happens. I’m really lucky to have a friend like you,” said Jasmine.

“Come on, you don’t have to thank me for doing my job. What are friends for?” Mia smiled. “I think I kind of have a suggestion that might take your mind off things,” Mia said.

What Mia said seemed to interest Jasmine, so she turned to her, waiting to hear what she had to say.

“How about you make up with my brothers?” She said that, and Jasmine sighed deeply. “I feel you should give them a chance. I know that they genuinely love and care for you, and I think you’re the only one who doesn’t see that.

Jasmine looked away from Mia and thought for a while. What Mia said was true, and she knew it. The brothers were her mates, no matter how much she tried to deny it.

“You don’t have to give me an answer; just rest up; we’ll talk later,” Mia said as she stood up from Jasmine’s bed.

“Thank you, Mia. I appreciate all your help,” Jasmine said to her friend before the door shut completely.

Jasmine closed her eyes and wanted to sleep, but she couldn’t. She just tossed and turned in her bed, but sleep eluded her.

She decided to talk to her mates to see if she’d be able to sleep after talking with them. She stood up from her bed and went out of her room.

She got to the sitting room and discovered they had gone back to their apartment.

Even though the brothers were earlier very concerned about her soured mood, they didn’t want to intrude so as not to upset her. And that was the reason they left.

Jasmine contemplated whether she wanted to go to them or force herself to sleep.

But as scenes of Noah and the woman he was with kept playing in her head, she decided speaking with her three mates was the right thing to do to keep her head straight.

She soon left her apartment, and within minutes she was standing in front of her brother’s apartment.

She was nervous, so she took a deep breath before turning the door knob. The three brothers all turned to look at her and stopped whatever it was that they were doing to stare at her.

Calix even stood up and walked to her.

“Hey, Jasmine. Are you feeling okay? What are you doing here?” Calix asked, his voice coming out softly.

“Yes, I am; thanks for asking. I came to talk to you guys,” she said, looking down at her thigh, suddenly feeling shy.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

The room went quiet again, with one person waiting for the other to speak.

“Why don’t you sit?” Calix said, gesturing her to a chair at the side of the room, and she sat.

They all moved close to hear her, eager to hear what she wanted to say.

“I’m sorry,” Jasmine blurted out. “I haven’t been nice to you guys at all, so I apologize for that.”

“It’s fine, Jasmine. We understand you. You’ve been going through a lot recently, so it’s natural to act that way,” Zane replied.

“Thank you guys for always understanding, but I hope you’ll give me some time to think about being with you,” she asked.

She didn’t just want to jump into another relationship without thinking well and end up getting hurt again. She didn’t think she would be able to handle any bad situations with her friends.

“It’s fine, Jasmine. We can wait as long as you want. We just want you to know that we are always here no matter what, okay?” Calix assured her, and she nodded.

“Thank you,” she said, and she stood up to leave. “I’ll take my leave now.”

They all stood up to walk her to the door. She walked towards the door and held onto the door handle. The only thing that kept flashing in her mind was Noah making out with another girl.

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get it out of her mind. She felt like she was going to go crazy, so she did the only thing she thought would help.

Jasmine turned back to see the brothers all standing behind her, wondering why she stopped. Her hand reached out to the person who was closest to her, and that was Ethan.

She pulled him in and kissed him square on the lips. Ethan’s eyes widened in shock, and so did the rest of the brothers. They all couldn’t believe what was happening.

Before Ethan could react, Jasmine had pulled away to k**s Calix and Zane. They thought she wanted to take it further, but when they saw the broken and vulnerable look on her face, they knew she just needed comfort.

They led her to Ethan’s bed, since it was the biggest, and laid her in the middle. They wrapped themselves around her like a blanket, with Calix and Ethan on one side and Zane on the other.

Jasmine just nuzzled her head into Calix’s neck, inhaling his scent. She found comfort in being in her mates’ arms. She never thought she would feel such relief from being with them.

She started thinking about what it would be like if she eventually agreed to be with them. She started to imagine a future with them, together and happy.

In her imagination, it didn’t seem so bad; maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if she tried.
