First Love

Chapter 22

Lily’s POV

I walked inside the Rehab with him and trust me if I say that I am nervous it would definitely be an understatement because I am hell nervous. What if she doesn’t likes me? What if she thinks that I am one of Adrain’s play toy? What if she thinks that I am… The fuck? Why I am getting worried about all these shit? Who am I to Adrain? Obviously no one. Then why the hell should I bother this much?

Biting my lower lips, I tried to ignore everything but the nervousness was indeed strong.

When we reached Infront of her room, he took my hand in his hands and knocked at the door. I looked at our hands that were together and it felt odd. I never knew that the person who was once a monster to me will one day hold my hand and let me meet his sister. What’s wrong with him? Is this one if his game? Or has he actually started liking me or something like that?

If the latter is true then fuck, I so want to escape him. I don’t want to be liked by a demon. He burnt me with milk and then those spider things, I’ll never forgive him. I’ll hate him forever. I don’t care what he feels about me, I just want to go away from him. That’s it.

“Come in.” A soft voice echoed and it was of his sister.

We both stepped inside.

And the first thing that I noticed about his sister was that she was really beautiful. Flawless skin, long hair, my god! I’ve never seen such a beautiful girl in my life.

“Sarah, this is Lily and Lily this is my sister.” He introduced us to each other.NôvelDrama.Org © content.

She looked at me plainly and tried to force a smile but failed miserably.

“It’s okay I can understand your situation. No need to fake a smile.” I said.

She tilted her head in Adrain’s direction and they both communicated through their expression which I didn’t understand.

“Hey, Lily.” She said.

“Hello.” I smiled.

I sat on the chair and that’s when Adrain passed her the bouquet. She took it and was about to throw it in the dustbin before she found out that it was something different this time.

I knew that already. She’s depressed and she must be hating all those things which she used to love. So that’s why I brought rose for her. She opened the paper and read what I wrote. A small smile appeared on her face as she looked back at her brother who I guess was surprised to see her smiling.

I felt happy to know that I made someone’s day. Adrain must be happy to watch her little sister smiling.

“Thank you for this.” She said to him and he nodded.

They both talked for a little while before it was time for her therapy session. She was reluctant to go at first but after Adrain insisted her, she went to take therapy.

“How did you know that she’ll like red rose?” He asked, once she was gone.

I shook my head. “She didn’t like red rose. She liked the note that I wrote to her by your name. It gave her assurance that she’s okay and if anything happens then you’ll be by her side.”

He nodded, with a huge smile.

“Thank you.”

“It’s okay.” I replied.

We both stared at each other in silence, getting lost in our own thoughts. And we were having a moment before I blinked and he cleared his throat to hide his blush.

Eh? He’s blushing?

What’s wrong with him?

This is wrong. This is so wrong. He can’t like me. What if he gets obsessed with me? He will then never let me go, right? I shuddered at the thought and decided to talk him about it.

When we left the Rehab and sat inside his car, I looked at him.

“Adrain, I want to talk about something.”

“Go ahead.” He smiled.

“Do you like me?” I blurted out the very first thing that came to my mind.

He stilled, looking straight through the windshield. Once again like before a small blush crept up to his neck and it irritated me a hell lot.

“Don’t fall for me, Adrain.” I stated.

His grip on the steering wheel tightened and he shifted his attention to me. “You really think that I’ll ever be able to love you?” He asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. Who knows what’s going through his mind?

“I don’t know but trust me after what you did to me, I’ll never be able to like you. So please let me go, it’ll be better for both of us.” I said in one go.

He held his breath and stared as if he’s going to kill me any second. I pushed saliva down my throat and tried to shift my attention but his burning eyes stopped me from doing so.

“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?” He screamed.

I flinched away in fear but composed myself.

“Say that you’re mine.” He hissed.

I clenched my teeth in frustration and shook my head.”I won’t.”

“Fine then get ready to face the consequence.” And with that he speeds up the car.
