Chapter 2358

Her lips were soft, her gaze enchanting, like a fairy emerging from the morning mist in the mountains, sneaking into his bed while he was deep in sleep. The man grasped her chin, propping himself up slightly, and leaned down to kiss her. The laziness of the morning softened the harshness he usually carried, making his kiss gentle, causing her heart to flutter in the quiet dawn.

The morning mist poured in through the curtains lifted by the breeze, mingling with the morning light, swirling in the quiet, ambiguous air. His kisses became more focused, and Sylvia was the first to succumb to her emotions, clinging to him, whimpering in delight, her voice as melodious as a song. Hardened resolve finally gave way to tender caresses, Gabriel's throat moved, his gaze deepening, as if he wanted to meld her into his very being.

Outside, the day grew brighter, but the mist thickened, becoming so dense it seemed imprable, rushing from all directions like a surging tide, threatening to engulf everything in its path. Two hours later, the day was fully bright, the morning mist finally dispersed, and the sun emerged, heralding another sunny day. When Gabriel got up, he didn't wake Sylvia, letting her sleep a bit longer.

But as soon as he left, Sylvia, as if sensing his absence, reached out for Gabriel, grasping at air, and suddenly woke up. The daylight was bright outside, white curtains fluttering in the wind, and she was alone in bed. She was momentarily disoriented, then casually threw on a bathrobe and headed for the bathroom. Finding the bathroom empty, she became a bit frantic and pushed open the door, intending to head downstairs barefoot. "What's wrong?" Gabriel asked, coming up with breakfast, frowning at her. Sylvia looked somewhat dazed, then, after a moment, smiled softly and shook her head, "I'm hungry." Gabriel set down the breakfast tray, adjusted her robe, tied it up, and fetched a pair of slippers for her, chiding gently, "Don't you know you get cold easily? Don't walk around barefoot."

He crouched down, holding her delicate, fair ankles, slipping the slippers on for her. The sunlight fell on his strong back, and Sylvia felt as if she was dreaming, staying perfectly still. Gabriel stood up, asking, "Have you washed up?" Sylvia shook her head.

"First wash up, then we'll have breakfast, and then off to the cultural festival in the old town!" Gabriel said softly. They had originally planned to visit the cultural festival on the previous day, then meet up with everyone else at the manor, but they had woken up too late and missed it. Sylvia's gentle smile returned, "Okay, I'll wash up, and then we'll have breakfast together." Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

"Alright, go ahead!" he said, gently touching her face. Sylvia happily turned back to the bedroom. Breakfast was enjoyable, and afterward, they changed clothes and headed out. Everyone was gathering in the villa's central garden, almost all were there.

Kya pulled out an identical lollipop from her pocket, unwrapped it, and popped it into her mouth right in front of Josiah. Everyone burst into laughter, mocking Josiah's failed attempt to bribe a child. Magdalen Sampson's laughter was bright, and seeing Sylvia and Gabriel approach, her smile carried a hint of triumph, "Seeing Old Mr. Jarvis tomorrow, I definitely need to get a big red envelope from him." Estelle laughed, "No need to ask, Grandpa will give you one willingly!" Magdalen leaned on Estelle's shoulder, clicking her tongue, "We're such a great match, how could my taste be so good?" Suddenly remembering something, she asked Estelle, "Gabriel's not leaving, right?"

Estelle nodded, "I suppose not!" "With Sylvia, such a beautiful woman by his side, I wouldn't leave either!" Magdalen smiled brightly. Carson Foster and Marina Evert also approached from a distance, and with their arrival, everyone was almost present.
