CHAPTER 46
LOLA'S POV
"Come on, we have talked about this. I cannot be with the Beta," I told Ann. She knew where my heart was. I found it annoying that she was insisting on the Beta subject yet she knew that I didn't find the Beta attractive.
"If there is one thing I have learnt after so much observation is the fact that, you should be with someone who loves you more than you love them. The Beta will give you all the love that you desire. Drop the Alpha, he doesn't care about you. He has outwardly chosen another girl over you, how can you not see that?" Ann asked.
"Can you please give me a moment?" I asked before getting out of the room. Tears formed a stream down my eyes as I walked out in the cold.
I wanted to be loved. I wanted to feel loved. I wanted Alpha Robin to myself. No one ever wants the person whom they love so much to be with someone else.
If I didn't have a strong physical attraction towards Alpha Robin then I would be with the Beta. Being with him at the moment is not an option since I am not attracted to him.
I had to accept my place and come up with my plan as soon as possible. I cannot bear the hurt and the jealousy that I am feeling at the moment.
I decided to take a walk to clear my head and that is when I bumped into him.
"Lola," He called and I low-key rolled my eyes.
"Hi Beta," I said, forcing a smile.
"I was meaning to have a chat with you," He said smiling at me but his smile alone was an irk. I was not attracted to him at all.
"What is it about?" I asked.

I was happy with how the dinner was set up. The next thing was to go surprise Anita. I had sent an omega to go and ensure the food, and the rest of the set up was okay before I finally took her there.
While waiting for the omegas feedback, I decided to pass by the office to see how things were pretty much faring on.
I finished some paperwork named urgent and as I was walking out, I saw Lola talking to the Beta.
I knew for a fact that I needed not to feel this way but I ended up feeling bad. I did not understand what they were talking about. I wanted to know what it was all about.
Were the two of them together? Was Lola spilling my secret? I needed to know what they were talking about. The last thing that I would want was for them to betray me. "What's going on?" I asked once I got to them.
"He was just leaving," Lola said and Beta walked away. Today he didn't have so much to say, especially to me.
"What the fuck is going on, what are the two of you talking about? Do you intend on betraying me?" I asked. My heart was racing in my chest. I didn't know what I would do if I found out that Lola actually betrayed me. "He was pretty much asking me out." She said,
"What did you say?" I asked through gritted teeth. I was not hiding my anger at this point in time.
"Are you offended? I thought that you didn't care," She said.
"I care," I said and there was a while of silence before she finally spoke up.
"Let's go sit," She said pointing to the empty seats nearby and I listened.
"Don't ever betray me. I promise you that I will not forgive you if you choose to do that," I made it clear.
"I would never betray you. I would not go out with him. My heart belongs to you," She said, interlocking his fingers with mine.
It made me uncomfortable but I had to act like I was fine. I was praying that Anita doesn't get out of the quarters and find me hanging out with Lola. I had promised her there was nothing going on, so if she found us, seated and talking, it would be a problem.
"I can't remember the last time we made love. I want you to make love to me," She whispered to my ear.
Lola had mastered the art of seduction. She knew how to pace her words and how to slowly whisper into my ears. For a moment or so, I remembered the last time the two of us had so much fun. We were making out in the woods. As far as I enjoyed her company, Anita was now in the picture and I also had so much fun with her too.
"What do you say?" She asked once again now that I was not responding.
"Come on, now is not the time," I said, pulling away from his touch and that is when things went sour.
Lola started sobbing and despite my efforts to make her calm down, she didn't listen.
"Just be honest with me if you don't want anything to do with me. Don't keep me around. At this point in time, I am not sure who you are fooling and who you are telling the truth," She said.
"What do you think?" I asked.
"I think that I am the one you are fooling. I can clearly feel it." She said.
"No, that's not true," I urged.
"I am giving you a month. I will try to contain my feelings but if you don't break up with her, the entire pack will get to know about what you did. You will lose everything, your power, your status, everything!" She said. "Come on, it hasn't gotten to that," I begged.
"You have a month left, or else..." She threatened before walking away.
I called her to come back but she didn't come back.
