Falling for My Contractual Wife

Chapter 630

Brian stood rooted to the ground, confused. 'Didn't Camren say women like being in the spotlight? Why did Grace look impatient? What went wrong?' he thought.noveldrama

Brian had a headache. He glanced at the crowd around him who were secretly taking photos of him and threw the bouquet into the trash can.

In the cab, Carson tilted his head and looked at the unhappy Grace. He asked, "Grace, aren't you happy?"

Grace frowned and asked, "Should I be happy?"

Carson cleared his throat. "Brian drove to pick you up and give you flowers. Shouldn't you be... a little moved?"

"No, I feel troubled," Grace said coldly. After a while, she looked at Carson in disbelief. "You don't think this is cool, do you?"

Carson choked. After a while, he said softly, "Even if I want to be cool, I couldn't."

Grace did not understand what Carson was saying. She only reminded him, "Don't try this on Vivian. No woman likes to be treated like a monkey in the circus."

Carson rubbed his nose. He did not agree with Grace's point of view, but he still acknowledged the statement.

After returning to the country, Grace was busy again. The cooperation with Francis Group was also about to expire. Grace had been dealing with the end of that project.

When Brian returned to the office, his face was dark.

When Camren saw Brian, he was puzzled. That shouldn't be the case. The novels had said that trick would work.

Brian slowly looked up at Camren. "Do you think Grace would be moved?"

"Perhaps Miss Sherman doesn't think she should agree so easily." Camren smiled sheepishly.

Brian thought about it seriously and felt it was possible.

Camren analyzed again, "Look. You and Miss Sherman had married back then without being in a relationship. You only realized you liked her after she left. Although it has been over three years, you have never pursued her. All women like to be pursued and pampered like a princess. You've just taken the first step. Of course, Miss Sherman won't agree so easily. She must want to test you more."

Brian nodded slowly and looked at Camren seriously. "What should I do next then?"

"There are only two things that women like: sincerity and money. Although you may mean it, you have to give her stuff she likes too. You can give her limited-edition gifts occasionally. No woman can resist it"

Camren explained.

Brian nodded, not fully understanding. He didn't know what Grace liked. He racked his brains for an afternoon and still didn't know. At last, he asked Carson out and asked him what Grace liked.

Carson replied, "Grace likes to draw when she is free. After marrying you, she likes to cook, but it's just for you. Now that she lives alone, she farely cooks. Oh right, she wants to learn billiards recently."

Brian nodded. "I understand."

Before Brian left, Carson called out to him again. "Um. When you turned up at the airport with flowers that

day, Grace was disgusted."

"What did she say?" Brian asked.

"She said she felt like she was a monkey in the circus," said Carson.

Brian choked. When he went to the airport that day, he felt very uncomfortable too. It seemed that

Camren was not reliable at all.
