However, the figure was like a ghost. It was disappeared when she got there.

She was confused looking around but she could not find anything. She stopped a young policeman passing by and asked," Excuse me, did you see a tall thin young man standing here just now?" "A policeman?"

"Well, I don't think so. He was not in a uniform."

Sorry, I did not pay attention too much."

Cathy was disappointed. She shook her head," Never mind, thank you."

Was she looking in the wrong?

That face... was Aaron's.

Suddenly, he was slapped gently from the back," Mr. Lee, what's going on?"

The man collected himself and the expression on his face returned indifferent. He turned to the man came from his back," Nothing, Lawyer Hill, have you found the document?"

"Well, it's nearly done. We could appeal after three months." The middle aged man patted his briefcase.

"Good job."

Lawyer Hill shook his head and patted on Aaron's shoulder gently," Let's go back now."

"Wait a minute. I need to go to the restroom." Aaron smiled gently. He lowered his head tidied his lappet then walked away.

"Miss Lawson, Mrs. Lawson, please have some food."

Cathy moved her stiff arms and legs and raised her head. Her worried expression was a little eased, too. She said," Thank you. I'm not hungry. Don't worry about me."

Mrs. Lawson was panic in her heart, too. But she could not let her daughter endure the pressure alone anymore," Cathy, don't let me worry. You must have some food."

Cathy raised her head," Mother, Matt, please have some food, too when they are still warm."

"Pardon me, please. I have to take this call."

Cathy walked away for a few steps and picked up the phone. She had a tentative greeting," Hello? Mr. Franklin?"

"Yes, it's me," A mild male voice came through the phone from the other side. He joked," I'm not sure if you forget me."

Cathy was stunned then laughed instantly," How could I. I saved your number in my phone all the time, Mr. Franklin."

"I don't mean the number of course. I called Mr. Brown and I heard that you asked for leave for a long time. Was that because that your mother was ill? How's it going now?"

Cathy was confused a little but she replied instantly," She is good now. I will back to work these days. Thanks for your concern, Mr. Franklin."
