Kris' words worried Danica very much.

Everyone knew how popular he was.

Kris sat up and comforted her.

She moved towards him, sat beside him, then tugged at his arm as she begged, "Call your company now and ask them to drive your fans away.Once they're gone, then you can leave”

Instead of getting his phone, Kris reached for a pillow and hugged it tightly as he looked at her like a lost puppy.

"I'm tired and sleepy after driving the whole night to come here.Do you still have the heart to drive me away?"

Danica sighed, looked at Kris, and said seriously, "You have to go.We can't have unwanted gossip to go around.Otherwise, your reputation will be ruined."

Danica knew that Kris's career would be ruined if people found out that he was with a divorced woman, who was also a woman six years older than him.

"What did he say?" She swallowed a lump.

"He said that you need to go to his company now.There are lots of things about the plot that he needs to discuss with you.Only then can he decide whether the script is already good enough"

Danica raised a brow as she spoke, "Go and talk to him right now? Isn't it already beyond office hours?"

Manuel smiled and said, "Maybe Theo is a workaholic.He's still at the company, working overtime."

Whether what Manuel said was true or not, she knew that Theo was adamant about meeting her tonight.

Danica gripped her phone tightly as he bit her lips.

She didn't want to be in the same room as Kris, but meeting with Theo was no better.

Even if they would just discuss the script, being alone with him was not something she wanted.
