Chapter 6

After the dinner finished, Roland Wang was in a hurry to see his lover but he saw Zoe Jane kept

pestering Monica, asking to send her home. So he came forward with a fake smile and said, "I

appreciated Mayor Jane for your kindness, but my assistant still had work to do tonight."

Zoe Jane noticed Roland Wang's despise clearly, he knew that Roland Wang must have

misunderstood his relationship with Monica. He felt bitter, and he had to give up, saying, "Mr. Wang if

you need a favour you can always come to me."

For others, it was such a good thing that they couldn't get even if they tried. However, Roland Wang

responded coldly and quickly put Monica into the car. He hurriedly ordered the driver to drive. Seeing

him like this, Zoe Jane smiled: this guy was interesting.

Monica lived in her uncle's house. As Roland Wang was in a hurry to see his new lover after sending

he ordered, "Get a car, now!"

There happened to be a car stopped by the driver, and they worked together to get Roland Wang into

the car.

anything. He knew that the Wang family was invading Jiang City, but he didn't expect that the second

son, Roland Wang, would take the lead.

drinking and passed the nights in dicing and cardplaying and other frivolous pastimes. It seemed that

he had been hollowed out by women, so he fainted so easily.

The car arrived at the hospital. Roland Wang was sent to the emergency room. The driver was waiting

at the door in a daze. Someone persuaded him to bind the wound, but he wasn't willing to move.

Quarmy Huo looked at the driver with sympathy. The Wang family's family rules were far beyond strict.

While thinking, his phone rang. Madrigal Jane's soft voice rose, "Quarmy, where are you?"

"In the hospital."

"Are you OK?" Madrigal Jane's voice was a little nervous.

"Something trivial happened," he answered.

"Do you want me to come over?"

"No! Nothing serious. Gotta go." Quarmy Huo's voice was very gentle but also firm, and there was no
