Enough For Him

I didn’t even think about looking back as I sprinted out of the bedroom. Sleep always gives ne a big appetite so I needed to get some food down my system.

“Charlize!” I heard his shout his voice hard and deep, his hormones all over the place.

I smiled to myself as I heard the sound of the shower going. A cold shower in particular.

I headed straight to the fridge picking out some ingredients for a quick chicken melt. I felt my phone buzzing from behind me. when I saw my brothers name across the screen, I swiped it quickly.

Bright baby brown eyes stared at the screen. “My baby boy hello” I cooed into the screen. He heard my phone and squealed nearly knocking over the phone.

“Mama, where’s papa I made him a drawing look” Jayson shoved a drawing of what looked like people one tall and one small, so I guess that was him and Leon.

Arms slipping around my waist “Hey buddy, glad someone’s missed me what you go there” he looked closer to the screen and smiled big.

“Is that me and you son. Do you miss me shall we play today” the never of this guy as he took my phone ad walked through the house with it as he spoke to Jason.

I placed the plate on the table and sat on his lap so I could also speak to Jayson.

“were coming to see you soon Jayson. George stop giving my baby sweets” I said knowing fully well that George is listening in. George has trouble saying no to his nephew.

“fine” I heard a grumpy George in the background. We waved at the screen as we said goodbye.

When the line was cut, I picked up a half and handed it to Leon who was leaning back staring at me. clearly, he still hadn’t gotten over the whole bedroom thing which probably left him turned on.

“don’t be mad, come on I made you your favourite” I poked his lips with the bread trying to get him to eat but to no avail.

I know what will work. I bit of a generous piece and leant forward. I waited for him to take the food from my lips but instead he brought his fingers towards my mouth removing the food before kissing me full on the lips.

“don’t play with food Liz” he mumbled between kisses as his fingers once again trailed down my body. This time I let him.

His fingers didn’t stop until they slipped beneath my panties. I jumped up slightly from the burning feeling of his fingers against my most delicate skin.

“Think I’ll show you how much I missed you,” he said against my neck as he moved his fingers inside me. I gripped onto his shoulders as he moved his fingers slowly making me feel all kinds of pleasure.

He can’t possibly think that I didn’t miss him, after finally coming back together for him to just leave for nearly two days. I just wanted to act cool but with Leon is nearly impossible to even do that.

I don’t think I have ever been so busy. Doing campaigns and PR for my book can be seriously exhausting and I’ve had trouble to find time even for myself.

I feel like Leon has taken this as an opportunity to work hard since I don’t really have the time for us at the minute. I don’t want him to jeopardise his work, he loves his job and that’s what he should focus on.

I don’t know what I expected when he called me 5 minutes ago cancelling on our date.

I stretched my legs under the table. My eyes glanced at the beige heels on my feet, a perfect match for the dress I was wearing for this night.

I quickly paid for the bill passing my people who knew exactly what I was escaping from.

I dialled Jessica’s number into my phone. I didn’t even wait for her to pick up when I started talking or rather ranting through the phone.

” Hold on there liz, are you trying to tell me youre pissed off at your ex for ditching you and that you have no idea what shit Leon is dealing with right now. You guys are going to send me and everyone into an early grave I swear” I vaguely heard the sound of door slamming.

“get your pretty little ass down to his office and meet me there” she was the one to hang up on me leaving me confused as hell.

What the actual fuck is going on right now. I decided to get an uber and I used this time to search Leon’s name to see if there was any news on him.

My eyes widened when I saw numerous articles focusing on him.

Who in their right mind would write this. I know Leon hasn’t had a great track record recently with this whole Emily thing, but Leon would never do this.

But this wasn’t what I was angry about, not in the slightest. So instead of communicating with me like a normal person he decides to keep silent and bail on our date tonight.

Did he think I would believe these women.

I walked out the uber and headed straight into the office. Jessica was already at the front desk, she looked angry as she spoke to the man.

“Good you’re here, get your mans guard dogs to step down will you” jess said noticing me presence over her shoulder.

“actually, he doesn’t want anyone coming up” the mans words had both our heads spinning. “what” I blurted out appalled.

He looked down seeming to be slightly anxious with my response.

” he doesn’t have a choice” I said walking around the desk and heading towards the lift only for my vision to be blocked by some bulky man in a suit.

Is he serious.

” Look mister, I may not be his girlfriend but I share a son with that boss of yours so unless he doesn’t want to see little jayson you better let me through. I promise not to smack the living shit out of him when I get to him” I know it was a bit harsh but I didn’t mean any of it.

The big man breathed out slightly.

He pressed a finger to his ear and spoke ” Did you hear that sir, I really don’t want to repeat, yes sir” jess nudged me wiggling her eyebrows.

He stepped to the side letting me go though.

” Do you think its for the money” I asked jess as we stood inside the lift waiting for it to arrive at the top floor.

Jess hit my shoulder in annoyance. “ofcourse it’s because of the money do you really think Leon would be taking advantage of women when hes got girls left right and centre, honestly” she groaned at me.

Well sue me for asking.

” he didn’t tell me though, do you think hes hiding something” this time she really hit me hard.

She grabbed her phone from her bag. I watched in surprise as she dialled Hailey. The poor girl is going to have a baby any minute we don’t have the time to be bothering her.

“this better be good jess, I’m having contractions” Hailey shouted through to the phone. I winced hearing her angry voice. Id be surprised if Hailey was having any more kids after this. her pregnancy has been a nightmare.
